First Site Up - Now What?

Hey Warriors,

This is my first post on the forum about my first website. After much procrastinating and study, I finally got my first website up in my niche. Four days later I noticed I was #8 on the first page of Google for my main keyword phrase and #1 on Yahoo. I need advice about why I would be so high so fast as I have not done any article marketing yet, that's this weekend.

Maybe this is a nonsensical question, but some of this is new to me and I am puzzled. What would be the next best step to take?

    Well, that's a good thing. Keywords play a vital role in search engines. You said you haven't done any "article marketing" yet. Does that mean you're using a blog script? If so, that would also help a lot, it gets indexed fairly quickly.

    Anyway, next step to take would be to start selling your product (if you have one). Give some promotions or discounts. Start marketing and advertising and you should be set. If you have any ads, keep them up and keep checking if you've gotten any money from them.

      I set my site up with a WordPress Blog. And I'm starting to modify things to draw the buyers.
