Default Setting Up RSS Feed in xsitepro

I'm setting up my mini site/landing page in xsitepro and want to set up xml/rss feed. When I go to do it, it asks me if I want to setup feed for "whole site" or I can check individual pages, i.e. I could set up a RSS feed for each page I have created.

Which should I go for?

MG

Hi MG,

I tend to select the pages I want in the RSS feed, there is no point in adding your Privacy Policy, Contact Form, T & C, etc. in an RSS feed

Also, make sure you include your affiliate links in the first 1 or 2 sentences so they get included in the feed.

Thanks Pete -

I see what you mean, so should I set up "one" feed for the pages I select or a separate feed for each?

One feed for each site is the way to go - just exclude the pages you don't want.

Now I'm having trouble setting up my feed in xsitepro - went through instructions, got the icon and am able to add it to google reader, etc, but the link in the reader adds a / and a word so the link doesn't work...

You ever run into that?

For example - mydomain.com is my homepage want to syndicate -

added xml for it, named mydomainlp - spit out rss feed like http://mydomain.com/mydomainlp.rss but when I got to the link and then reader the link is http://www.mydomain.com/awordhere (awordhere is example) - what am I doing wrong?
