A little question about an affiliate site

I'm building an affiliate site around a product from clickbank
My question is, if I need to promote somehow my affiliate link between the lines of the articles, or to put banners, or maybe both?
Or maybe the best strategy is to collect their emails before I sell them anything?

Redirect them from your blog post/article to a beautifully designed landing page (sales page). Get their email and then sell it. Its very important to design a professional landing page. Most of the landing pages suck big time.

Astral Walker is on the ball here, in cause you dont understand why he made this recommendation, it is so you can build your list and get to sell to your visitors at once so you also benefit from the traffic you generate and not just clickbank. Also, you can re-pitch to your list over and over to convince them to make the purchase or with more offers later on etc.

Create a lead magnet that provides value and educates people on why that particular product is best for them. This could be a free report/ebook, audio or video.

Always build your list first, build a relationship with your subscribers and then promote the affiliate products.

I would use banners and call to action at the end of your articles. I have always used text but you could try buttons. You can always test different positons to see which converts best. Normally it's the right sidebar.

If you want use banner ads, make sure you test, test, and test! If the banner ads you put up aren’t getting any clicks, or you’re getting clicks but absolutely no sales as a result, dump them and try another.

    Hi

Why not send them to a squeeze page instead then you get email your prospects and use content marketing to softly warm them to the idea of doing business with you. As most will tell you that's the best way to start growing an online business...build a list of subscribers.

  • Yes you correct, build trust and collect emails and provide some free training and ebooks in your email sequence and they buy whatever good money making products you promoting.

Obviously keep your email sequence centered around your niche and market your list products that complement each other like list building product and a traffic generation product.

Link you banner ads to a squeeze page that says something about you having the solution to their problem. Then offer them free training, ebook, video etc. in exchange for their name and email address. then send them more free training in your email sequence and then send them the email sequence with your affiliate offer link inside of them.

Build trust first, and you will have multiple sales per day

Best of luck on your affiliate campaign

You could (and should) try all of the above, the biggest key is to track all of the changes and see which ones are positive
