I walked into his business and the first thing I asked him was, "how are you and how's business?"

He said its doing great, people are finding him from online and his business is
growing. We chat for a few and I said, "hey I can do this too, do you want it?"

He said yes = +$47/month recurring profit

(consider this for online marketing)
1. I took the time to reach out to him personally
2. I show I care about him/his business
3. I build the relationship
4. Recommendation (recurring upsell)

if you're struggling online, try these 4, provided you have realized that
having a list(s) aka potential customer base is arguably the best investment
you could make in your business.

If you know how their business is doing, you can figure out why they should
pay you to fix what could be better when things aren't going so well or pay you
to step up their game if things are going well.

    That would be a "sale".

    An upsell would refer to what you sold him, after you sold him your front end product, aka your $47/mo deal.
