  • Nicheguybob,

PAID WEB ADVERTISING -- Private ad banner / text link ad / advert placements in niche-related blogs, sites, Youtube channels / videos, Web forums, Facebook pages, Facebook groups, other online publications and Web communities that are heavily trafficked by your target audience ...

I also recommend participating and initiating relevant discussions in those online places. This will increase the likelihood of the owners / admins of those online places being more receptive to your ad placement offers and guest posting / content syndication deals. When you contact them, you'd most likely be a familiar name to them due to your regular participation in their online properties ...

Other paid advertising options include Google Adwords Search & Display ads, Facebook advertising, Bing Search & Display ads, Youtube advertising, Twitter ads, PR distribution campaigns, advertising in credible CPA networks and so on ...

NOTE: It's much better to promote an opt-in offer across those online places. Here's why:

    • You'd get the chance to convert your paid traffic into subscribers ...

NOTE: Integrate Facebook retargeting code and Bing remarketing code into the pages of your blog. Here's why:

    • Your Facebook ads for your opt-in offer will continue to be displayed to people who have already been to your blog but have yet to get your opt-in offer. Your Facebook ads will be displayed to them while they're in Facebook; and

    • Your Bing ads for your opt-in offer will continue to be displayed to people who have already been to your blog but have yet to get your opt-in offer. Your Bing ads will be displayed to them while they're searching for relevant terms in Bing and also while they're spending time in relevant sites with Bing ads ...

If it's in the health niche you may want to branch out a bit. It's a competitive field and will be extremely costly on the big ad networks like Adwords... I'd recommend looking into some smaller advertising networks like Bidvertiser, Clicksor, ExoClick. You could also look to buy banner ads on other health related blogs at places like BuySellAds.

Facebooks ads are good, you can create a targeted audience for your niche, also solo ads are good as well but you need to get a good source for solo ads like Udemy.

Assuming you are talking about the blog in your signature file, it looks like you still need to get some of the basics situated. Like a domain name and what not.

But once you got that pro looking going on, maybe check out some link exchanges for some beginning traffic, and once you've got a profitable revenue model in place, you can use networks like Taboola, like all that major blogs do.

All time i like to do organic seo for better result & personally i believe that organic seo is better then paid/buy add because organic seo has longevity.

      I would disagree.

Reason being, with organic traffic, you are at the mercy of google, bing, youtube, facebook or whoever you get that traffic from. If they get mad, for whatever reason, they can spank you. And bye bye rankings/traffic. (happened to me many times)

But what no one can take away from you is buying traffic. It's more abundant than anything.

Whats more powerful is developing a skillset in paid advertising. Because when you have the ability to spend $100 and make $200, you can command your income and have true control over generating sales for your business.

SEO & Social Media are great traffic sources. But don't solely depend on them.

There are paid methods and free methods of promoting your blog.
If you want to invest money in ads, start with Facebook. Create a fan page and set up an ad campaign. Meanwhile, try getting fans to your page 'the natural way', by posting interesting stuff, engaging people to like and/or comment on your posts.
Guest posting is an option. And doing on page and off page SEO

Paid advertising is fine for promoting a blog, although

    1) I'd make sure that you own the real estate your blog is on -- pony up the $50-75/year and get a real domain name and Wordpress hosted in on your own site.
    2) I'd make all of my actions in advertising centered around building a list. The blog promotion is a nice side effect, but a list is key. Without a list, you are just another Internet poster.

With paid ads, you can promote something on your blog via an opt-in method where you collect an e-mail address before you offer your content. You might consider packaging a post or two plus a special free bonus and offering it via a paid ad for free in exchange for an opt-in.

Don't just buy ads and point them to your blog without doing something to build an audience on your own platform that you can control.

If you are going to do any paid advertising such as PPC or banners then I suggest you don't send that traffic to a blog but instead a lead capture page. If you spend money on advertising and send the traffic to a blog then a lot of people will view your site and exit after they are done, however if you capture the lead you can then follow up with them at any time. If you are trying to grow your blog you may want to look into some reputable SEO companies as well as Guest Blogging on other authority blogs relevant to your niche. Use your blog to build your list.

Combing the best of both SEO and PPC is ideal. Why not get highly ranked and pay for those 1st page rankings via the PPC model?

Facebook would work well for this as long as your blog is not pushing any products they don't like.

I think that buying clicks or real traffic for health websites will be too expensive. Unless you sell a popular or high-priced item it is not worth.

Also, since you only have a blog, then the ROI will not be as it should be. Your best bet is to write quality content, distribute it to your social media channels. Get involved in communities, expand your readership, expand your social media fellowship and gain trusting visitors who wil buy whatever you recommend.
