Email Deliverability Question, please

I just completed a squeeze page and tested the optin box with 3 different email account of mine. The autoresponder message went to the junk box in all 3 accounts.

1. I'm using Aweber...

2. The spam score is zero...

3. The "send from address" is my website (example: name@mydomain com)

4. There is no double optin email.

I'm thinking the culprit is number 3... The domain is only 2 months old... Could this be it?.. Or is it aweber? What's the deal?

I'd really appreciate any input... Also, will someone direct me to a good thread about email deliverability?

Thanks in advance

A double opt-in shouldn't affect your overall email deliver-ability. However, It's possible that even though your spam score is zero there is wording within you email that is being red-flagged by the email provider. If you have links in your email they could be flagged if you're using a link shortening service like tinyurl.com. Check your email wording for known "spam filter trigger words" (google this) and make sure your subject line isn't all capital letters. Hope that helps.

Even though they gave you a spam score of 0, there still can be something in the subject line, body or both that can be triggering your email getting sent to junk/spam.

    There are so many factors.

Try subscribing to your list with a different email address and see if the message hits that spam box too.

You can also ask aweber support.

I would change the send address, instead of contact us an actually name.
