Problem with ProfitBuilder on 2 Hosting server

12 replies
Hi,
I recently purchased ProfitBuilder but I am encountering the error on front-end
failed to parse passed in variable @font_face:

Also, the back-end of the theme is not loading properly...

This has happened on iPage, now migrated to BigRock and it still persists.

Has anyone faced such issue? Do you know of any solution?

Their support staff is responding pretty promptly but I think they are also not sure what is the problem here...

Thanks!

    Might be ionCube not installed on your hosting, check if its installed on your hosting server or not.

      IonCube has not been required to run PB for a very long time.

        Correct me if I'm wrong.

        ""What are the System Requirements for This Amazing Marketing Site Builder?
        All you need is a standard host, a self-hosted WordPress site with a minumum of PHP 5.3 with IonCube loaded. This is standard on 99% of good hosts and is the minumum standard for most commercial plugins...""

      all I know is you must install profitbuilder first and then install the theme.

      the theme won't work without profitbuilders plugin installed.

      also, I noticed some themes just don't work with profit builder so make sure that you are installing with a wordpress theme installed first.

        The support are asking for my Cpanel access - should they need this as I already setup an Admin account for wordpress access, seems they have no clue as to the issue. All other plugins are disabled and I have Profit Builder running on another domain on the same server so am baffled by this.

        Anyone got any further with this ?

    after going back n forth with support and insisting they do not need CPanel to look at the problem - we have :

    ================================================== ========
    Thank you for your patience. I have updated your theme with latest build 2.8.5 and issue has resolved.
    ================================================== ========

    I understand that no software can be 100% but they released this using us as testers !! and we had to pay for the privilege !

    They sent the same message to me but in my case they didn't need Cpanel access, only FTP, Wordpress Admin and strangely, my ProfitBuilder account access. But it's great to know they have finally fixed the issue... And the theme is working great now!
