Hi all,

Can anybody recommend any good guides or general advice on starting and managing a list or should I just go ahead and start the list anyway. It will be mainly used to update buyers on new products.

Thanks

Dave

If you want to learn the intricacies of listbuilding and list management,i don't think anyone can teach you better than Tellman Knudson and Jimmy D. Brown.these two guys are absolute genius when it comes to listbuilding and relationship management.

you can join Tellman's listbuildingclub for a trial price of $1 only.

Jimmy D. Brown also offers the membership of his "list and traffic" program at a very low price.

    Hi Dave,

I tried 10's of them without success. The only time that I was successful was the time that I registered with Aweber and started working on it.

Don't waste time. Aweber has all the videos you need to learn how to work with email marketing. The relationship is really the easiest part in it because all you have to do is to treat your subscribers like humans and not like their are pigs with money in their tummy.

    Good luck anyway you choose.

My best advice is to sign up with Aweber and start your own list. You can build your list using mini courses, free online newsletters, article marketing, blog sign-ups, and a host of other list-building and lead generation strategies. PM me for more.

Great advice! I am in the same boat as far as struggling to start a list. Thanks for that!

Dave you aren't alone. I too had trouble building my list when starting out. I've read several products and learned a bit from each of them. Maybe one day I'll get around to putting all my notes together into something useful for others.

As others stated, get an Aweber account and dive in. You'll learn a lot by taking action.

As for guides/products Jimmy D. Brown, has some great info. I haven't used Tellman's product, so I can't comment on it one way or another.
