Has Anyone heard of/have experience with Typo3

I'm helping a real estate agent get a website up and running. She's even less technologically savvy than I am. She wants to be able to change her website quickly and easily.

My instinct was to go with a Wordpress themed site with static pages, but we've found a real estate website that we really like. It uses a CMS called Typo3.

Anyone have any thoughts on Typo3. I've never heard of it.

I've used it. It's a resource-intensive CMS monster with an absolutely terrible learning curve. It will take you a long time to master and setup. And if you're not inherently good at PHP hooks, CSS and XHTML...don't bother.

Typo3 was created for large, corporate websites that need to scale immensely. It's absolute overkill for a real estate agent.

Run with Wordpress. There's a really good Real Estate theme over at StudioPress Themes Premium WordPress Themes.
