Classic List Building Not Working?

Everyone knows the classic set up of a list building attempt:

-You build a website

- Offer a freebie

- and drive all the traffic back to your site

Ive been internet marketing for a long time and have managed to make sales using this classic method but failed to see impressive results until after two years. Like any normal person, I wanted to aim higher and expand my niches, but the effort would be too painstaking and would cost a lifetime to even start making a full-time income. There had to be a faster way.

After researching some more, I found a much better way was to have affiliates drive the traffic for you. This method was great because the affiliates don't get paid until the work is done and you profit while gaining traffic back to your site. I personally have been using Jvzoo and have gotten me some very good results. You can even promote your products without a squeeze page and still have people added to your list. There was still some work put in, but the results where actually satisfying the amount of effort into promoting.

After using Jvzoo for some time ive decided to also try Warriorplus for my WSO's, I would like to know if it is a better option than Jvzoo in this aspect as I have not gotten around to trying it yet. I am not yet where I want to be as an internet marketer, but I am slowly getting there and wish you all the best of luck.

It's a classic method to build a list and the easiest way for a newbie since most of them didn't have their own products yet so usually they're using some affiliate offers for the backend..

For the affiliate traffic, I guess it can be your biggest free traffic source to promote your products/services but perhaps JVZoo has more active and bigger affiliate base.

List building? Driving traffic?. Whatever you're unsure of, IMHO the best thing to do is engage a mentor. There are mentors in every niche. Their fees may seem daunting at first, but they are minimal compared to what you could spend while trying to manage on your own. I'm ashamed to even think about the years and money I wasted, convinced I could teach myself, but I was wrong. I finally realized I needed a mentor who would not only tell me what to do, but would show me how to do it. Keep smiling!

How do you get affiliates on-board to promote your product?

The money is not always in the list, the money is in the relationship with your list.

Building a list is more than just slapping up mediocre freebie and hammering your list.

Treat your prospects like human beings and your list will flourish.

      .
Excellent point here. Unfortunately, most marketers miss that point judging by the barrage of emails I get (even from some so-called Gurus).

Why do marketers assume because I'm on their list it gives them the right to urinate their sales offers on me - without ever giving me valuable content I can use to help pay toward their offers. Duh!

So, you think you'd stand out like a sore thumb to your prospects ... if you did what they don't do?

I was going to say the exact same thing...either you try to build an honest relationship with your subscribers or you don't. And besides, who said that someone signing up for a freebie wants to be sold to in the first place?

You have to qualify these potential leads to see where their interest is in the first place, and then market to them based on that. But there has to be some steps in-between for your efforts to be successful, otherwise you'll just get sent to a spam folder and forgotten.

Yes having affiliates drive traffic for you is great. But you shouldn't rule out one method, because all methods work if you do them correctly.

And as always, put the quality first and offer value to your subscribers.

Think of the emails you receive and compare them to mail you get in your physical mailbox.

Is all mail your receive in your mailbox equal ?

    Something to think about.
