I am curious. How do some of you guys go about making content free vs pay?
If you are blogging on a topic. What are some ways you determine if you want it pay content or free content?

Thoughts?

Its a curious topic for sure. I have found free content that is better than some paid content, and I wonder why didn't they sell this?

well, lets get a cool example (wsj). When you are on their site, in order to read other articles you need to pay (subscription) but if you go through google (seo), its offered the access for free so it helps with traffic.

I would do the same. Dont know how to code that though, but if I had the money, that would be the best way to go about it, and of course only with content that if you share it you will not lose your weapons or your most important products and services.

if you have any questions, just let me know! TC

Paid content is something that is exclusive or so unique - some method or trick or technique or strategy still not shared with people or something that others still do not know. Knowing about it might help people.

While free content is the content that bloggers are recreating everyday.

FREE Traffic really isn't free. It costs you a lot of time, energy and patience. But it can reward you for years to come.

SEO on the other hand is a different story, Google changes it's laws more often than their underwear so SEO isn't as reliable as it once was. You can still rank but it seems to be a constant battle trying to keep up with all of their changes.

Social media hubs are still a wonderful way to build a following, list and sales. It is also a great way to gain 'authority' in a niche.

PAID Traffic is a lot faster but it does cost money and there still is a learning curve. This kind of traffic is best for those marketers who don't have enough time but have the budget to put in.

There are courses online that you can learn how to do Paid the right way.

I like to use a 'combination' of BOTH but mostly focus my time on FREE Traffic because I have the time do it.

Because if it's free content you can monetize it with adsense, but paid content you are getting comissions when someone buys the membership or one time access to the content.
