Who here is GENUINELY making $10k/month year on year?

I don't mean by designing websites, graphic design or selling solo ads. I mean by list building, affiliate marketing or selling own products.

My guess is not many. Anyone? If so, what are you doing? How much did it cost to test everything until it converts at a % that sees you profit?

Why not those? Is my business not relevant? I do what works for me and I do fine. Why is another persons success important to you?

If you are looking for advice, maybe you should be a little more specific and ask in a friendlier manor and you might find the help you are looking for.

I guess it's not relevant because you work for a living. When you're an internet marketer though, then you just wake up, smile in the mirror and ten thousand dollars mystically appears from the cosmos. Didn't you know that?

Just look for all the other threads that get posted in here weekly that ask the same thing or similar and you'll get all the answers you need.

It is a very small percentage. But that is the case in most fields - not just internet marketing.

Not many and I would focus on making your first $1000 before you start wondering about $10K. It takes time to be successful and the secret is to market it over and over, add a ton of great content, and to use forums, social media, and paid advertising. Even then you are talking about something that might take a couple years in order to achieve. You should also be a little nicer when talking to people and I would recommend JosephC if you want to build a great looking website because he helped me out alot when I 1st started

Ah, yes. Attention everyone that's put in the time and hard work to develop a successful $10,000 per month business..

Please tell us lazy folks who aren't willing to put the time, energy, or hard work into developing our business how you did it. Please include a link to your site, your marketing strategy, contact information for your partners and associates, etc. That way I can put you out of business or hack into your profits.

Matter of fact, PM me and I'll give you my hostgator info and you can just transfer it over and make it easier for me. Thanks!

So I make a conscious choice to not center my business around building a personal brand (which I actually intend to spend a little bit of time on in the future) and that is an indication of how much or how little I make?

I've let dozens of web properties die a slow death and hundreds of domains expire since I started 10 years ago.

I agree with that. Although I doubt i'll ever invest serious effort into branding myself.

I keep posting under my name, but i keep all actual profit making ventures under company names instead. There are far too many plain evil people out there who have argument with you and then spend way too long obsessing over hurting your business. Anybody really looking will find in the vicinity of two thousand domains with my name on them, that I abandoned or barely even take a look at. Just on Blogger I have 400 or so. When anything takes off, I 'sell' it to a company, or otherwise move it to redirect traffic.

I was never good at faking being a nice guy, so I found it simpler this way.Keeping me and my business slightly separate.

I think it is possible to make that year over year doing this, but I think you would have to commit more time than most people probably have to working on everything online. I think this is a great way to supplement a stable income. Selling things is easy.

Jason, some minds don't understand because they are not capable. At one point they tried and failed so they feel its impossible instead of thinking outside the box and growing a business.

The only real way to make $10,000.00, $20,000.00 or even $100,000.00 per month online is to sell high price point products on the internet with some form of continuity income build into it.

You not going to make $10,000.00 a month online selling a $47 product alone. You need to promote a deep sales funnel that offer transformation and value to your client.

Then you will make five to six figures per month online.

Very few people are making that kind of money because they think that they can get rich overnight. Someone who is truly dedicated in making some income and is ready to put the long hours of work just like any job can make it online.

Sadly it appears that these types of threads are made by those who have, in some way, given up.

I'm not talking about newbies who don't know better, but of those who feel like they've tried everything without any results. And i get that it's a sign of frustration; a sign of things not going the way they planned.

The best course of action, honestly, would just be to concentrate on your own efforts to get yourself to wherever you want to be. Whether that's $10k a month or beyond, you just need to focus yourself on getting yourself to that number rather than worrying about whether or not everyone else is there or not.

If you can make $100 per month, you can easily make $10k+ per month. You just need to scale and see what works and what doesn't it's not a rocket science.

I've been making above $10k+ per month for years now. It took me 2-3 years to get on that level, though.

Just lock yourself in your moms basement and don't stop unless you see $$$*roll in.

Learn from experts, learn from blogs - everything is available on the internet. You just need to find it and put in work. There's no need to buy WSOs or products that people pitch here.

I am not at that level yet but I'm well on my way and I can definitely see the potential in what I'm doing. I wouldn't say $10k / month was easy but when you break it down, I definitely believe that there are plenty of people in IM making it:

    $10,000 per month = $333 per day.
If someone creates their own product that sells for $37, then he/she needs to make 10 sales per day which would equal $11,100 in revenue per month. So there's an extra $1k to pay for any expenses (hosting, maybe some PPC, virtual assistants etc) - I'm not saying that it would be easy, but these are not pie in the sky figures for someone who works hard and knows what they're doing.

$10,000 a month? Yeah, it's possible. My mentor has shown me proof that he makes more than that in a day --- sometimes a lot more! One day I'll be able to do it, too, if I just stick with it and follow his advice.
I feel very ashamed that I didn't seek help years ago. I thought I knew it all when I first started, and that I would soon be making millions. I was wrong. Many years later and thousands of dollars poorer, I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't get anywhere without a mentor --- someone to tell me what to do, and show me how to do it.
My mentor also struggled on his own for years, and was heavily in debt when he found the guy who coached him. He makes most of his money through SoloAds --- buying them, not selling them! He has a great product (his coaching), and a highly-converting Squeeze Page to which he drives traffic via the SoloAds.
So far, I'm still in debt and can drive traffic only through free methods, so I'm not making much. I know I'm on the right track now, though, and I will concentrate on SoloAds myself as soon as I can afford to invest in them.
    Keep smiling!

John - What I don't understand is why people with WF memberships from 2010 thru 2013 suddenly think it's OK to post affiliate links?

Or is a bigger-than-ever market for buying "aged WF accts"?

There is a thread right now - someone who has a 2014 WSO he bumps - and now he is posting what is "for sale" in main forum threads. Huh? It's very strange to see some of this stuff just in the past month or so. Is it just me?

I just started making over $10k a month not too long ago and give the advice that it gets easier as your income grows.

Making my first $600 a month online was pretty hard.

Scaling that to $1,500 a month was harder

But then going to $5,000 a month got easier

And then hitting $10,000 a month wasn't much harder than making $5k.

    So stick in there!

    Kevd10,

My suspicion is that you have been failing as a marketer and can't believe that others can be successful. You think they're lying about their income.

    Here's the truth:

What other people earn online is no indication of what you can or can't do. Their success or failure has no bearing on your success or failure.

Everyone is different. Everyone brings a unique set of skills (or lack thereof) to the dance. Markets change, economies change, and the times change.

Now . . . go make your own success happen instead of worrying about what other people are doing.
