What change made you successful?

This is for all those who started out poorly, then learned and became successful. I'm still just reading and researching here and still haven't actually taken any action yet........mostly because of all the stories I see about people who didn't make a dime for months or even years. I gotta admit, reading things like that is very discouraging because I just do not have the time to waste in a "hobby"....which is what this would be if I'm not making any money.

I guess I'm looking for some motivation here.....so let's hear some good stories! What did you do to fix what was wrong and finally start having success? Thanks for sharing.

I lost my job, stopped browsing the forum for 8 hours a day and got down to some work.

  • I can't pin it down to one change, and I'm not really all that successful yet. But I started making some money by constantly tweaking and improving. There hasn't been an "Aha!" moment for me, but I think if you just keep plugging and experimenting, you get better, like anything else.

One thing is for sure -- do nothing, and nothing will happen.
