I would tell myself patience pays off in the long run. I remember when i was younger trying a 100 different things and making zero money online. I was so impatient and never stuck to one subject. Now looking back i wish i could kick myself in the ass! I guess age just changes your perspective on things lol

I'd tell younger me to sue everybody for everything sooner. Its sad how long it took me to start suing companies and how easy it is to win. Most settle. Ones that do not will lose lot more from negative publicity than if they settled. Anybody want to start class action lawsuit against Google, hit me up.

It depends on how far back in time I could go. For example, if I could go back to the year 1995, then I'd tell myself to quit my job and study internet marketing full time. I'd also be a great coder, one skill I never focused on and severely regret.

If I could go to 2000, I'd tell myself to spend a few years building online poker niches and retire. If I could go back 10 years, then I'd tell myself to finish that kids fantasy novel I was working on and get it published. If I could go back five years, then I would have told myself to start my SEO firm then and skip the extra freelance years.

The biggest thing (outside of making money) I would have told myself at any of those points is to spend more time doing my own thing and focus on branding myself. Because even though I earn a great living writing copy and marketing for others, I've held myself back by not going all-in on my own ventures.

  Don't put all your eggs in one affiliate program basket. Find something easy to promote - not just high ticket.
  
  And buy a few premium domains when they first come out - even if they're a bit pricey.

  kencalhn: I know you said that as a "lol" tounge in cheek statement, but there's more truth than fiction in that statement.
  
  You'd be surprised how many people spend all there time giving advice on forums instead of making money. It's like the salesmen who spends most of his day in the office instead of in the field knocking on doors. It's a comfort zone you can easily fall into if not careful. Been there done that!

  BE MORE CONSISTANT!
  
  Looking back over the last almost 7 years, If I would have completed 1 blog post a day, or one video a day, where would that put me now.
  
  The advice of pick one strategy and focus on it until it starts working is absolutely true...

I would tell my younger self to go all out in educating yourself and mastering the skills that will make a difference in my life. Then I would literally push myself to bring out the best I can be. I will tell myself that all disappointments are for the better. Just keep moving forward and growing as an individual.

Knowing what I know now, if I can go back 12 years to the day that I started, I would tell myself this:

Tal, if you want to succeed you need to know that it takes money to make money online. Build your list and make sure that any affiliate program that you are adding to your newsletter or site has to pay you monthly residual income. You also must position yourself to earn from the efforts of others and also make sure that you position yourself to earn high ticket commissions. Stay consistent and never give up. You can do it too because others are doing it and are succeeding. You were born to win and there is no reason why you can't do it too.

I would most likely tell myself to have patience. don't try to have a perfect product launch it as soon as you can. wait for feedback it will come, always improve. stick with one thing for a while before moving onto the next thing, and always learn from what works and doesn't.
