How do I send broadcast emails only to people that have finished an autoresponder sequence?

I'm trying to figure out how to do something in GetResponse but I'm not having any luck. I'm setting up a sequence of autoresponder emails that I want to go out to my subscribers. I put out broadcast emails quite often, but I don't want the people in the AR sequence to get multiple emails a day (ie I send out a broadcast on the same day as an AR email). Is there a way to hide broadcast emails from people still in my sequence?
I was thinking maybe I could make some kind of rule that when they finish the sequence they are moved to another list and only broadcast to that list? I don't know.
If you have any ideas I would appreciate them. Thanks!
