List Builders ?

I've read that they don't bring in high quality traffic but i'm just wondering if anyone has had success generating leads using List Builders. Being a newbie to IM I realize its a numbers game and I need to experiment with the different marketing avenues to see what works and what doesn't.
So I'm looking for any advice, tips, or information that any of you might have with any of the List Builders. I'm specifically interested in any helpful information/tips for the following sites:
