Great list - and I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade - but it's very important to pitch to real world businesses and magazines to get a recurring client if you really want to make it in freelance writing.

But many of the sites on that list will create great experience and develop skills.

If one writer have a quality writing experience, he can work, odesk, freelancer, Elance, fiverr any one. No need to do work in 50 + sites. To get more & more work, you have some good positive feedback. beside this, you must complete the work within the scheduled time. thanks

Good list, but content mills are notorious for paying very little. I wouldn't recommend any of these as long-term writing solutions if you're looking to launch a writing career. They're good for just starting out, maybe for your first few months of freelancing.

Thanks for the heads up. Actually, my favorite place is Fiverr as there are a lot of gigs. Sadly, you do not get $5 per gig. They put $3.92 into your pay pal account, but there is a 20 day hold on the Fiverr side and a three day hold on the pay pal side - good luck on speeding it up. I have been on Fiverr many years. Yeah, they have been in business since 2009 and I joined in 2011 or so. Back then, there was a lot more work than now.

I like this list! I didn't know that sites like this existed! Where has my head been? I mean, I knew some places like fiver were there and amazon turks (something like that). I shouldn't be surprised though, the internet does make obtaining things more easier, especially when it comes down to writers
