There are plenty of niche blogs on blogs ads that cost only $10 per week and deliver a lot of targeted traffic that has high percent conversion. It depends what niche you are in. Most people like to stick to one genre. For example, car insurance is a proven winner. Key is to find out what people need and give them that as a product or a service. Do what you are good at, and the rest you can out source.

having 10 $ or 0 $ makes no differenc. What really matters is the skill you have, a pro graphic designer, write, web developper can start makinig money on odesk, elanc, fiverr... using free software. but if you have no skill at all then you won't be able to do anything because if it was possible to make a lot of money very fast investing only 10 $ everybody would do it. Another possibility is if you have a big budget, you can find a profitable niche and buy domain name, web hosting and pay writers to write your content, and make money from ads and affiliate links, or you can pay someone to create an iOS or android app and sell it. But with little budget I really advice you to go learn something that sells, like graphic design, writin, web developpement ...

Maybe that's the problem - my head tells me this forum is going off the rails with one thread after another about "make $1", "make $400k", and on and on - all by people who probably don't have a "tenner".

Perhaps it's the different focus of those who earn a living online and pay their way in life - and those who are part-time or trying IM for a hobby or who have others who pay their bills monthly.

I'd take your "tenner" - go out for breakfast and then come home and get back to work.

Okay, I'd buy a web hosting plan that includes a free domain name. Then install WordPress (free) and find a decent free WordPress theme that suits your niche. Then put up as much quality content as you can as fast as you can. You could even swipe it if your morals allow. Get yourself listed on blog sites, throw some ClickBank ads on your blog. Write some articles for the blog sites and hotlink ClickBank ads to your article's keywords.

In theory, something like this could work.

If someone gave me ten bucks and told me to go make some money online, I would tell them to keep smoking what ever they are smoking (if that works for them) and probably look for a good Chinese buffet instead (if you could find a good dinner for that price tag).

I doubt your that serious with that type of money. But to offer you a answer. Go to a local garage sale. Look for used, good, cleaned clothing a infant would wear. Carter's or Gerber's make clothes in the 0-3 month old range. Go with the average weight about 5-8 lbs. or your just going to sit on the product. Don't spend more than $5.00. on these, some lady that was moving sold 3 for $5.00 because her children out grew them and they were in the process of moving.

List it on e-bay at .99 and post pictures of it. Use the best description you can and make sure you put a call to action at the bottom of the ad. Go to a dollar store to find a envelope to ship it in. Hopefully you have plenty of stamps and packing tape on hand or you will pay for shipping. Once the product sells (50- 50 chance) Ship it ASAP. This works for fishing lures also. The competition is fierce on e-bay in this area.
If it sells e-bay will take its cut.

You may only make a few cents not dollars !! when all is said and done. Most of the time you will be relisting it a few times. This has worked but it usually requires effort that can be better spent else where.Like Kay and others said this fits a hobby criteria and not a business. If you think this as a loss leader or build a buyers list your better off. If you try to build a business off this think again, the Asian's ship from China and dominate most of these category's now !

One or two bad reviews and your pretty much done on e-bay.

We know you are probably in the "desperate" category because of this thread: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-i-failed.html and this question.

You are seeking for answers, right?

All I can say is that all the answers that you need to start are here.

1. There are lists of ways to make money as a freelancer doing things such as writing.
2. There are lists of things online and offline that people can do to get themselves out of their desperate situations. Things like selling on Ebay, mowing yards, washing windows, etc.
3. There are thousands of posts on how to market, how to sell things, how to write reports for cash, how to get better search engine rankings, etc.
4. There are resources listed about free webhosting, free autoresponders, etc.
5. And then last but not least, there are the hundreds of posts and replies asking almost this exact same question with different amounts. "If you had $X how would you get started".

What's missing is you (generic you for anyone in this desperate category). You haven't found the answers because you are not searching hard enough. You haven't made a firm decision as to what to do or which direction to go. You haven't gotten started with anything while remaining in dismay about being broke.

So what can you do starting today?

If you are good at design, figure out a little design package/price thing to get started. Don't ask for anyone's advice - just go and get ideas from the Warrior For Hire section. So you decide, let's say, to make logos for $20 to start (to start and get a reputation). Then you put a little ad in your signature. Or even better offer some free in exchange for a review and start building a reputation.

Then you post helpful advice in any thread looking for design help, design reviews, etc. Do not point to your sig "see my sig for cheap prices" - let your helpful posts do the talking.

You can get that started in the next hour. Ready? Set? Go! Times a wasting!

I would purchase my own domain for the ten dollars. I would then create a blog and work on getting as much traffic as I could to the site. Hopefully I would be able to monetize this traffic and make a little bit of money within the first month or so.

The $10 would only be spent on traffic generation. Now admittedly $10 isn't much so it would definitely have to be augmented with "free traffic" methods as well.

Do what I did ten years ago here in the UK. Turn it into £100,000 +.

Take the £10 into a town containing a lot of charity shops. Buy up to ten carefully chosen second hand books, using your phone to check resale prices. Open a free Amazon seller account and list the books for sale. When they start selling, repeat the process.

I made into six-figures over a period of a few years doing this. Although, admittedly I started with around 60 books (ended up with several thousand). The only reason I stopped is because I moved onto a boat to live.

I don't know what the charity shop situation is like in the US, but you all you need in the UK is £10, some spare time, and storage space. There is more competition now, but I could replicate the business again today.

Having $10 to start an online business is not much better than having zero dollars to start your online business.

If I was in a situation like that, I would start a new YouTube channel in a profitable niche and start uploading content-filled videos and then promote an affiliate product in the backend.

You could setup a free YouTube account, and create a free squeeze page with Weebly and build a list for free with Mailchimp.

You could find products to promote on ClickBank, Jvzoo, and Warriorplus to name a few.

You would have to do a lot of social media marketing to get your YouTube channel and videos noticed, and you could use the $10 to send some backlinks to your videos with Fiverr gigs.

I would buy a red paperclip, setup a blog and tell everyone I want to trade the paperclip for a house.

But since this has already been done (One red paperclip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) I would think of something similar.... Maybe a ping-pong ball???
