Pingoat is gone?

INTERNET MARKETING

I pinged my blog yesterday and it worked fine but today after I made some changes I went back and some generic page was parked there. What other pinging service should I use to ping a whole bunch of places at once?

If you are using Wordpress, you can import the entire list of places you want to ping when you make a new post or page.

I have not checked into the most recent version of Wordpress, which might manage this automatically, but there are plugins which manage your "pings" so you don't get accused of ping-spam (if that is actually a big deal anyway?)

I don't know how serious a problem it is, but I use a plugin to manage pings myself.

  I'm starting to use Blogger again because they've expanded it so much since I tried it the first time when they only had Adsense. I don't know if there's a plugin for Blogger like there is for wordpress.

I would have to agree that Pingler.com is a more than adequate replacement for pingoat, and I think that Pingler allows you to actually automate the pinging process every 3 days.
