Help me sell my site - please!

Hey all,

I'm considering selling one of my sites and I wanted to see if anyone can point me in the right direction.

I've never sold a website before.

The site gets about 150,000-300,000 page views a month depending on the season. Revenue is mostly adsense.

I know nothing of how to sell it or how to price it or determine it's value. It's 100% passive, evergreen, and ranks very highly for many keywords.

Anyway, if anyone can enlighten me I'd appreciate it.

    How old is it?
    What niche is it in?
    How much does it profit per month, last 3 months average?
    How much do you want for it?

      I'm not going to put specifics in this thread because I'm not trying to sell it here.

      I'm more interested where I can sell it, how to figure out the value, and what I should look out for,etc.

    the monthly income is almost always the way a site's value is determined.
    they take the monthly, and x it by a certain amount of months,
    and give it a perceived selling value.


    A good broker can raise your site's value
    by showing the potential in other areas and other means of gaining profit.

    So while adsense is your main revenue source fo the site now,
    maybe there is another, better way to make more cash off of it that you have not considered,
    and that a good broker has.

    I am not a pro broker, but I've taken a few lessons
    and I know a couple people that might be interested in helping you flip your site quickly
    or even buying it outright

    If you're sophisticated enough to create a profitable site, then you know where the usual suspects are for selling it no? I don't see what this thread can really add to your request.

      Flippa may not ended up with as high as x8.
      It could be x2 the monthly adsense revenue.

        Could be. Really depends on a number of things that we don't know. But, set a reserve and the OP won't lose anything more than his listing fees.

      This is the second time I've seen some dope copy and paste my exact post in the same exact thread just to drop a link. I would think the spam blocking/containing would improve around here after a multimillion dollar company took over.. But it's gotten worse.

    Flippa and Empire Flippers are popular markets. With that much traffic, you shouldn't have much difficulty selling it if you set a reasonable reserve.
