Analytics on SelfHosted Wordpress Blog

Where abouts do I put the analytics on the blog or should I leave it of, because since its the same code on every page, would it count multiple pages as one?

Thanks, Joel

If you don't know code - there is a plugin, search for it.

If you are comfortable messing with code - put in the footer.php file in your active theme... just above the closing </body> tag.

You want the code in a place that where every pageview will be counted. Put it in the footer. Your wordpress theme will probably have a file called something like footer.php

Your analytics app shouldn't miscount multiple pageviews. Your statistics should show a difference between unique visitors and visits and pageviews.

A unique visitor can visit more than once. A visit can include several pageviews.
