Hi...Question about selling a product.

Hi whats up...So i have a finance's ebook that i want to sell, and i have a website with entertainment stuff (weird news, celebrities news, etc). My question is the following: I have two choices to sell the product:

1.Create a new Domain, like a finances blog to sell the ebook, or
2. Sell the product in the site where i already have traffic going on and a facebook page with several followers BUT it is a different niche, and maybe i shouldnt try to sell a finances ebook where i have other niche going on...

I am very newbie in this stuff, what do you think is the best choice? Cheers and thanks in advance , and sorry if my question is too stupid :p.

    My advice is to offer products that your target markets are interested in.


    Sell finances eBooks to people who are interested in finance and finance products.
    Create or find a product that visitors to your weird news, celebrity news,, etc would be interested in.


    Without knowing your site, it's could make sense to add a "finance news" section to your site. Which would be easiest, but I'm not sure of the likelihood if it's mostly weird news.

      I will create a new web site for that ebook with single page sales letter.

      Like above said, you can create a finance section where you can put banners to ebook web site.

    If you're just starting out, a good way to start imo is just pick a topic you like, it can be anything and don't worry about making money at first. From there buy a domain and hosting and install Wordpress and keep adding content for your niche. Once you have a steady path of traffic then start to think about making money from the site.

    the advice so far is great. To add, why not do both, create the website for the product and also utilize your current "working" traffic streams. Why not use this, There is a good chance that many will be interested. Take the WF, it is primarily an IM niche forum, but there are people on this forum from every niche imaginable and have had success with this forum. For example, if I had a fitness niche squeeze page I would have no problem putting that as my signature in this forum. It may not be the "optimal" choice but if it is your main niche why not get as much traffic as you can, don't limit yourself.

    You shouldn't promote that finance book just anywhere, you should find the appropriate niche to market that ebook to.

    If you send a weight loss product to a group of people who wants to make money online, then that weight loss product won't convert as well as if you had sent it to a list of buyers who bought similar weight loss products in the last 30 to 90 days.

    I think that you can do both options. Only on option #2, you need to make sure that it won't over-shadow the existing products you are offering there.

    sell this book on your site that has traffic but also target your market do both no brainer if you already have traffic you might as well stick your book on there. but anything will sell better when you target.
