So, if you're selling marketing services, you could offer a marketing course (over the course of X number of days).


Also, get AWeber or another comparable email service provider and use the Lightbox opt-in feature. This will increase your opt-ins, rather than just having it at the end of a blog post or on the sidebar of your site.

There are plenty of ways.
Both Paid and 'free'.

There are no tricks at all.

I like to offer a free course with a complimentary E book offering to get people to sign up on my List.

This weeds out those people only wanting to do a quick hit and run to secure the E-book.

I at least make them go to their Email to retreive it , and the Course start the next day

Website/s that provides good info and make people CLICK Seriously. These days you won't build a s***if your content is mediocre. And by mediocre I mean good.

You need at least super content to create a good list that will eventually respond to your aff offers one day. Sorry mate, it's XXII century already (yes, XXII!). Make it real good or don't bother. That's my opinion.

And there is no TRICKS mate. The only trick you may want to use is a great piece of information for your readers. Take this words to your heart or ...

BTW, word FREE doesn't work anymore as it used to do.

Don't be stupid and instead THINK about what your audience may want to read about, not about what will make you money. I know, it's hard at the beginning (been there....) but, that's your only chance. Sure you could make money providing s**** info but at this point you would turn into CON isn't it?

Take it easy and think how you can make their life easier and better. Don't think about money at this point, let it go for now Focus on peoples life and how to serve them. The money will follow if you do what I have said.

There are really no tricks in list building. Yes there are tips that can assist you along the way. But no real tricks. Tricking kind of sound misleading or 'manipulative'.

So one of the best ways to not only build your list but actually profit from your list is by offering value as some of the posters said above.

But value by itself isn't enough. It (value) is part of the success equation but it's not all of it.

Can you imagine if someone who was part of the KKK saw me online? Someone like this would never buy from me no matter how much value that I have to offer.

I'd start by just doing a search on these forums, it's been discussed quite a bit. The long and short of it is typically to offer something free (like an ebook, etc) as an incentive/reason to opt In.

As for getting people to your site to do this, it could vary by niche but look up seo, facebook fan pages, video marketing, article marketing, Twitter

The best method using FREE TRAFFIC is you give good value or information in "this forum".

Buyers are the best.

I prefer the mini-course method as well. A few videos to offer as an incentive - will really turn your traffic that you have into a goldmine. Tons of traffic methods out there though, free and paid. Blogging and Solo Ads have been most profitable for me.

there is not necessarily need quantity ... but above all quality in the products they want to sell ... you can expand your range of people promoting the social, fb is already very good showcase, your advertising should be targeted and appealing

Targeted traffic always convert the best. This may be from free or paid sources. For example buying An Ad from the blog of your niche will bring targeted traffic to your squeeze page. Similarly traffic from forums related to your niche will bring targeted traffic.

my best trick, is to go to where the most likely client is hanging out, as in right now, TODAY, and then pay to put a nice ad infront of them, or to at least get them into your funnel.

Remember there is a SECRET to getting TRAFFIC, that is = THERE IS NO SECRET!, not all traffic is created equal, you have to find out what works best for yourself.
