Email to Send Affiliates?

Hey Warriors,

What kind of text do you think is good to send to affiliates?
It's my first time and I want to do it right (that's what she said...)
Are there any do's and don'ts ?
Any things I need to mention/notice/talk about?

A template with bullet points would be great and much appreciated!

Cheers!

This is what I basically wrote:

    Hi
    How is your day?

I recently launched a product and now looking for solid affiliates looking to make good money. I am offering 70% return to my affiliates with an opportunity of more earnings on the new upcoming high ticket products.

The sales page has everything: VSL, written copy and designed to drive people to take action and buy

If you are interested, visit the page for affiliates: *****************

    Account name: ***********
    Market title: ********

    Cheers!

I would recommend to talk mor about your product and why people will want it and why people should think they can make money with you

  • I think Chris is right above, what you need to think in terms of the potential affiliate reading the mail and answer the 'What's in it for me'. In other words focus in on the benefits of promoting your product/service to them, e.g

"No need to spend time creating promotional materials as I have created banners/swipes etc etc"

In addition to the percentage they can make, it creates a far greater impact to tell them how much they could actually earn across the funnel eg. "Earn up to $47 per visitor to my sales page"

Also if you have done any testing, actual conversion figures are a good magnet to attract people (that is if the stats are good of course).

I would add that as well as emails, it is well worth posting in the various launch sites and Facebook groups to tell people of your offering.

Finally, in the long term it is worth building a relationship with other marketers so that they promote your stuff because of who you are and not just because they might make a load of cash from your products.

I hope this helps and I wish you all the best with your hunt for affiliates

Do you have a sales funnel in place? If so, you may want to talk about it too.

If this is a new launch, you can create a competition too.

Contact one of two super affiliate that you want to work with and offer them a bigger commission.

Also do you have any online reviews or testimonials that you can point them to? If these potential affiliates are not familiar with you, they'll want some sources to show that you are a reputable company.

Based on what you already written, I can say that you need to emphasized the VALUE that your audience can get out of your product plus the PROFIT they can possibly earn working with you on the efforts that you have.

Keep in mind that your content should be compelling enough to persuade your readers but don't exaggerate things like promising things that you know that it's impossible to achieve, etc. Your sales letter should be direct and honest as well!
