List building with affiliate marketing

Hi, so I'm wanting to build a list with my affiliate marketing, but I'm not sure how to go about it. I know how to build a list with a squeeze page requesting an email address in exchange for a free report and I also know how to do affiliate marketing using a landing page that has my affiliate link. My question is how do I get an email address to build my list as well as direct traffic to my affiliate offer? I understand about doing email marketing and getting people to the affiliate offer that way; I'm looking for a way to get the email address and send them to the affiliate offer at the same time if that's possible. thanks

I don't know if I understand you clearly but
it sounds to me like A) you want to get people
on a list and then B) send them to an offer.

For A) you can use a squeeze page, or however
you want to go about gaining the opt-in and for
    B) you simply set the "Thank You" URL in your
autoresponder system as an affiliate link that
directs where you want to go.

If you want to send people to an offer that might
have an opt-in page (not good after they've just
opted-in) then use a tool like Soda Popper
which lets you set the destination while also
dropping your affiliate link when the link is
    clicked.

If I'm reading the question correctly - you could set your squeeze page "thank you" page to your affiliate link.

    Example:

After visitors opt-in direct them to your thank you page with an offer, your thank you page also tell them that their download link is sent to their email.

At your download page. Put a link to download your eBook (always zip your ebook so the browser download it, if you put in pdf format, sometimes/most of the times browser open the file and you lose your visitors' focus, again, under it put an offer/ Unannounce Bonus.

  • Then of course sending them newsletters with your offer also helps. However make sure that the content in your newsletters is valuable and written in a way that they can benefit with what you are offering.

    Cheers!
