I am currently developing a brand new website for the Article Directory Owners' Association. This is a not-for-profit organization of white-hat, ethical article directory owners. For an organization website, with a board, by-laws, code of ethics, events, calendar, etc... which of the following two templates would you think would look more appropriate? A. The Expert Vision Template or B. The Trial Services Template I will obviously be tweaking the designs to relate to the eventual permanent content. Thanks for your opinion! AL p.s. Why don't I just ask the members of the organization? I am looking for opinions from people who will be visiting the site as non-member visitors. |

I like them both, but for a professional body or association, I think version A (expert) is more suitable. Kindest regards, Karl. |

Thanks Karl, That's where the problem lies in my measly little brain. I want it to look pro (as you said) but I also need it to look current...web 2.0-ish. Ya know? Do you think A. fits the bill for that as well? Thanks for your thoughts! They are well recieved. AL |

Hi Allen, I think A. does fit the bill. Bear in mind that WEB2.0 glossy styles will go out of fashion, and I can't imagine you wanting to use a grunge style in future. A looks more corporate while maintaining a very subtle but pleasing 2.0 style. Version B. would be more suitable for a blog or a new service, in my opinion. Kindest regards, Karl. |

Both those templates are good. How do you like template-world templates?

I love their templates! They're easy to work with. I am using another one of their free templates to redesign another site of mine. Problem is, since I only have less than 20 websites, and I am happy with them all, $65 a year is impractical for me. I guess if I were to REALLY want one of their templates, I would fork over the $65 just to get that one. AL |
