Hello Warrior Clickbank.com Experts n Earners........

I've decided I want to start my IM journey off using clickbank. Hopefully thats a good choice, but even if it isn't I don't care. I've picked it and Im sticking to it.

Im sure there are many methods to make money using clickbacnk, but if I could just get the basics of the tried and true strategy I think I could take it from there.

        Absolutely true...

I just launched a gardening website yesterday. The fan base has already started to grow and it got its first AdSense click this morning.

    Hi umair,

Clickbank is just one of the affiliate platform that you can use to get commission, there WarriorPlus, JVzoo for example and it doesn't really matter which one you use but how you promote for it. So I would say that you're already on the right track.

Regardless of niche, there are many way to promote for the affiliate products in Clickbank, here's a few ways that you can choose from.

    1.) List Building
    2.) Review Sites
    3.) Blogging
    4.) Social Media
    5.) Pay Per Click
    6.) Banner Ads

Sure these are just general terms, this is just to put you on the right direction but if you will just give us more details maybe we can help you more.

Some people are going to recommend that you go with free marketing techniques. That could work long term but if you want to get the ball rolling and making sales right away, I would look into paid ads.

If you are going to send traffic to the offer right away, I would go with solo ads.

With pay per click, most of them don't allow you to send your traffic to a sales page right away. If you are going to use pay per click, you will need to create your own small review page and you also want to register your own domain name and get your own hosting account.

Your first few days, you might not make it at all and lose some money. If you really want to succeed, I suggest that you commit yourself and never give up. From each setback, learn a lesson that will only take you forward.

    Good luck.

You are right paid traffic is always the best method to drive traffic and see results at once. On the examples I provided I listed them at the bottom because If you're just starting out and don't have that much budget yet, the best way is still to go with free traffic.

Of course it would be a different scenario if you have a good budget to burn so you can do testing and tweaking your campaign. until it becomes profitable.

I will look into to the benefits of fan vs group pages. I can honestly say that I have not sent invites to my groups I get an average of 30 requests a day it seems to join it. So I would like to think they are unique. I generally post links to other art related content in my groups mostly tutorials or artist interviews. Sorry for hijacking the thread OP.

I would say, you search for product in the clickbank markeplace with a gravity of 50 or more.

Select one first. It is recommended that it is something related to your interest. For example, your interest is in muscle building, then you should go for muscle building affiliate programs. By selecting a product of your interest, creating content about it would be enjoyable and easier.

Create a product review, then refer people who may be interested to your offer and keep repeating the process until you get the number of sales that you desire. Optimize your review site for the search engines in order to funnel free targeted traffic in the long term.

Select another hot selling product and do the same process. Get successful in there.

Save some of your profits for you to use in scaling up your online business in the future. As for now, get started today.

I am no expert but I suppose most people will say blogging and posting on forums. Studying SEO would be a good idea to find out how to rank higher in google. I wouldn't recommend facebook though because there you are promoting to other promoters unless you buy advertising. Craigslist might be good too.

No... It's a fact. I run 5 different websites - all get over 90% of their traffic from Facebook fan pages. One of the sites gets close to 1000 visitors per day. All are monetized at least in some part with Clickbank.

None of my fans/visitors are promoting/selling anything.

If all you are attracting are people who are trying to sell, you are doing it wrong.

Ok. Point taken. I have never used facebook fan pages so I'm not an expert. However, I would guess that if there is already a facebook fan page for something you can't start another one. What this means is you have to be the owner of the company. So in this regard, it would not work for everyone. Otherwise you would have 10,000 people with facebook fan pages for the same thing. If that happened the person who started the company would lose money. I know if I had a company and a few thousand or even a few people had fb pages for my business I'd be pretty pissed. Wouldn't you?

              No... On all counts.

Think about it.... Let's assume you want to promote a certain Landscaping Clickbank product. The best way is to setup a brand and website around landscaping and then build a Facebook fan page around the website to drive traffic to it. So, you build MikesLandscaping.com and a Mike's Landscaping Facebook page.

Your next door neighbor also wants to promote the same product - so he sets up BillsLandscaping.com and a matching Facebook page.

You are both now promoting the same product but yet you are both two completely different brands. Neither of which has anything to do with the company/brand who published the landscaping product.

You are looking at things with a very narrow view of how affiliate marketing works. You have to look at the broader picture.

So, the best way to promote clickbank products is email.

So, what I recommend is you setup an affiliate-type funnel, and start building a email list

    Interesting,

I would hate to be wading into the affiliate marketing arena as a newbie, it isn't easy even for experienced professional internet marketers any longer. It is all about traffic, always has been, always will be, and given the extreme competition where everyone is promoting the same old same old crap for the most part, unless you have a deep targeted list built, trying to promote with emails, free classifieds, PPC, etc. just isn't going to get enough results to make it worth while. PPC use to be great for affiliate links, but choosing a product or service that thousands of others are promoting will end up costing you more than it is worth, especially with PPC ads.

    Good luck,

I am a no expert far from it just someone learning the ropes, I feel for me personally I couldn't get people to be passionate about something unless I am passionate about it as well. Like I couldn't promote a gardening website on facebook I have no knowledge of gardening, if you can do that then thats great. I know what works for me and its sharing what I love, Not spending a penny either. People will join your facebook fan pages or whatever if they believe in what you are bringing to the table. If a fisherman for example runs a fan group about cooking but knows nothing baout cooking, do you think people would join it? Chances are no. So I feel facebook is very effective. Does it make money? Well I am not sure that part is new to me but I am going to work on integrating that into a blog art style website thats welcoming, with click bank ads on the site and see how it fares. I have worked my one group for about a year now and its to the point where I just get people who want to join everyday about 40 or 50. I would be a fool to not try to convert that traffic into possible revenue.

You are right. That's why I tell people to stick with things they enjoy. I don't hate gardening but I don't like it enough to run a site about, which is why I'm selling that site. Someone who enjoys it will take it over and do something with it.

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but do you build blogs sites and sell it with click bank attached to it to gain income meaning you get checks for click bank advertisement on the site you sold? or does someone else take over that when you sell it as well? Also I sent you a PM not sure if you got it or not. Thanks again for the information really appreciate it.

Both, actually. I run some of my own sites that are monetized with Clickbank (among other things) but I also build and sell sites that are monetized with Clickbank and other programs. The buyer takes ownership of the site and then gets paid by Clickbank.

      Let me check my PMs.
