Hey i am just starting out in this industry and was wondering if you have any helpful tips

i have been to some seminares but they only help you so much

Tip #1
As you read, certain internet marketing strategies will appeal to you more than others. Start to focus in on one, then TAKE ACTION.

Tip #2
My biggest tip is TEST before spending lots of money or time. If you want to sell an ebook on raising gerbils, send some traffic to a gerbil ebook site and get a commission. Or start building a gerbil-raising-interest group. Don't spend months working on the book only to find out later no one wants that.

Tip #3
If your test doesn't work, don't ditch it immediately. Work to figure out where you went wrong. It could be a bad ad, bad salesletter, bad followup, bad lotsathings.

You're certainly on the right track, and you've got some real leaders stepping up to help point you in the right direction. This place is full of real heroes, some from way back when and loaded, totally Rock Stars, and some of the "overnight successes" that we hear about, who actually have been working at it for a while.

Hi jessy

The best advise you will ever get any where when it comes to intern marketing is research research research. Let me explain this a little bit further. First begin with things you are already interested in or would like to know more about your self. Jot down a few of the keywords assosiacted with each of those ideas. Then head over to google and use there keyword research tool. Now add in each of the main keywords you thought of. First start with those by turning off the keyword ideas. See which one would get you the most per click. After you have found the one that gives you the most per click now refine the search to see which one you could get the most traffic from. Now that you know which one is the most profitable with only adsense. You can take it a bit further and search through affiliataion products. You also need to make sure that the niche you come up with is not over saturated. Which would cost you countless numbers of visitors from the beginning. Hope this helps bud good luck to you.

My advice - read, read, read - learn, learn, learn on this forum. Don't buy anything until you've learned some of the very basics. And, don't be afraid of asking anyone on this forum a question. Someone will help you - I guarentee that!

Hi Jesse,
Don't get overcome with information overload from trying to learn it all at once. Decide on one one aspect of internet marketing to specialize in and focus on learning all you can and mastering that skill.
No matter which direction you choose, (PPC, SEO, blogging, article marketing, CPA, or other), read all you can on that topic and ask questions on this forum. Be sure to stay focused and not get distracted jumping from one thing to another with all the get rich quick and push button profit products out there.

Treat your internet marketing business as a business. Don't expect to make thousands overnight, but if you work hard and stay focused, you can make a good living online

1) learn as much as possible

2) Plan what to do

3) Execute your plan

4) Measure your result

5) Go back to step 1 again and repeat.

As result will vary, the most important thing is have persistence in your Internet marketing.
