Hey, Im working on my huge project that will be a paid membership site but with a 7 day $1 trial too. Now what it needs to include are.... Chat room (not irc nor java but on site simple more php based chat) Webinar room (now i could run these using some third party software or something i dont know or even just put it on justin.tv or something similar) Forum (very important and needs to be intigrated with the members login details and login them in to the forum when they login to the membership area + needs to be easy to manage). Im also hoping to run my free (don't register) blog from it which is free for all and all the information on it will be available to anyone and then on the side of that run a seperate paid area. So not completely together but based on the same domain and same site layout etc. Anyone got any ideas at all on what i can use? Tom Brite |

However not sure about the forum integration or chat room integration... or am i just making this over complicated as those are just seperate plugins or what? Tom Brite

Yes, the forum and chat room would be separate plugins members would get access to those features, once they have paid to gain access to your member site.

Im asking as i really don't want people to have to enter their login details or have to signup many times to acess the forum and then the chat room aswell as the content too. Tried to find some documentation on this too but couldn't. Tom Brite

There's also the trial version of memberwing.com (google memberwing if the link's not right) You can use separate plugins for the forum, and if there isn't a plugin to use people's login details for the forum, I'm sure you could have it coded at elance.com. Best of luck to you, let us know how it's going along the way! Susan Denham |

I thought about getting something custom coded or customized for my needs but the shear price and time would be huge and i figured someone else must have the same requirements as me hence why im now asking here! Appreciate all your comments ![]() Tom Brite

I plan to integrate MemberWing with vBulletin. I did a serious research about forums as a business model and nothing could be compared to vBulletin forum software. So I think it will be the best of all worlds solution. Cannot give ETA though - (unless someone will push me) ![]() Gleb |

Tom, Yes I am developer and owner of MemberWing. I built MemberWing paying most serious attention to SEO concepts from all sides as well as to protection of digital downloadable content. I also included content theft prevention and theft tracing measures. I actually like your integrated business model - offering chat, webinar and forum alltogether will serve well to make your online business sticky and engaging. With chat and webinar I'd suggest to use other plugins and solutions that supply this functionality really well. Google chat module works really well for example. I also consider forum to be an extremely powerful online business model. In my view it has way bigger visitor engagement and monetization capabilities than social networks concept. Just calculate hot much money this forum make with WSO thread alone. After doing the most serious research of forum solutions and models - I will be seriously looking into integrating MemberWing with vBulletin and adding extra SEO flavors to it. Going with other forum software and regretting it later on - will be very costly. So regarding forum i'd suggest to go with vBulletin and SEO addon module for it. And then find some means to integrate with with Wordpress. When I'll have a chance to integrate it with MemberWing - this will be dream come true for free- and paid membership community business building. Gleb |

I use Wishlist with the SimplePress forum. Integrates in a snap and works like a charm. Here's how it looks: ![]() Wishlist rocks. See my sig file for full details of how I built my site. Hi Tom, If it helps, I got to work with MW and the RAP add on that Gleb created and the set up is phenomenal. Highly recommended. For the forum, I had someone else ask about Simple Press that's mentioned above. Looks pretty interesting, but if you want something that is as robust as can be, the vBulletin is definitely the way to go. Have set it up several for clients and it really does the trick. Thanks, John |

Thanks John, appreciate it. I am in the middle of setting up worldwide forum for women. VB is the only tool that can safely handle it (that is many girls crowded together) ![]() Gleb |

You mentioned that you used vbulletin and set it up for some clients... how much and how long do you think that would take/cost to do the same for me? Quote:

| Easy. With Simplepress, there's a central admin page where you can create forums, manage topics and users and so on. Wishlist's admin is intuitive and user-friendly. All point and click. Plus, their support is superb.
