Hi, lets say I get a backlink from a social site right to a sub directory of my site. Lets say I get a backlink from digg.com to howtofish.com/fishingtips.html on day 1. Now day 2 I get a backlink from digg.com to howtofish.com/howtocatchbass.html will each of these digg backlinks help each of my sub directory pages? Basically I would use the anchor text of each word im targeting on the page. So I guess im wondering if getting backlinks to the sub directories of my site will help each page rank better in Google. |

I also forgot to mention that im trying to use digg in this example to rank each of subdirectories better on my site. I would make the title of my digg post the keyword im targeting on the subdirectory of my site. Im wondering that if I make a digg post for each page on my site will it help each page rank better for the keyword term its targeting if the digg post has the keyword phrase in its title and links back to the subdirectory on my site? |

It all counts question is how much funneling your links like this does not hurt you and I have seen where having a link from a back link to a back link get some decent rankings over the website being mentioned Ed |
