The site screams "amateur". You need to clean up the site, break up the articles, and make your visitors WANT to stick around. How does your site stack up against your competitors?

Hiya my friend I had a look at your website...

Increaing conversion is all about making changes and testing... congrats on your 28 subscribers.

First thing i would do is replace the position of the opt in form... I would place it in the position of the facebook like box.

Then I would change the headline from get your Free weight loss report here... ask yourself... why would someone want this report... what problem will this report solve and word it so that they are motivated to get the reported cause its gonna solve a problem.

I would get rid of the ad at the top of teh page and below the opt in form and replace them with fitness related ads that your visitors would actualy be interested in... not only will it be more relevant to your site but it would also take away from the spammy look which will promote trust.

There are other tests I would try but it's all about testing until your satisfied with your conversion rate.

    good luck

Agreed with wolfmmiii. Nothing special about the site.

I'm kind of surprised 6% of your visitors have signed up for your email list. It doesn't stand out at all.

Why'd you build it on the .org and not the .com? What's so special about the name Lionheart Fitness? Who owns the .com and could there be any complications with them?

I built it on a .org because the .com domain was already taken by someone else, Lionheart because my favourite lion is a male lion which is a dominant species and the king of the jungle, lions are brave and also protect there own aswell as being natural predators

I have a fitness site as well. The .org is fine but I really would consider changing the color to a more clean, refreshing feel like white, blue, or green. Black just make people want to leave. Also if you have only had 400 page views that is nothing. I have built sites and had 400 page views the first 3 weeks with the site not even built and not even ranked. The others are right, its not a bad conversion at 6%. You are in baby stage right now, you havnt even had enough visitors to be concerned about conversion rate.

Fix the color of your site and also move the optin form up above the fold. You want to direct you views to what you want them to do. You have the most plain optin form Ive ever seen.

Just work on it and test, you will get it.

I would suggest changing the look and feel of the website. Also, the color black doesn't complement the niche. So, changing it to something refreshing that would go with your fitness niche.

The content is not stylized to make it readable and it does not make the reader compel to read.

Next, 421 page views is nothing. Even if you have a great designed website but put no marketing effort, there won't be any visitors. And the point of conversion, that is your email subscription doesn't entice your visitors to sign up. Make it something bold and beautiful so that it stands out.

Bring up the point of why your readers should sign up and the benefits they'll enjoy.

So, first thing is change your website color, design, layout and test the points of conversion s for your site.

Next, put tremendous effort into marketing.

The first thing I noticed was how broad your site tries to be. Fitness and health are two extremely large markets. When you try to appeal to a very large and broad audience, you end up appealing to no one.

Why? Because nobody is interested in every aspect of health and fitness. So when you try to cover a lot of ground, much of your audience could care less about the topics you're writing about. Each visitor is interested in certain specific aspects of the two markets you're in . . . but how do you keep them engaged when the topics you're covering are not their topics of interest?

I believe you should focus on a deep and vertical niche where all your subscribers want the same thing. Then, whatever you write on the topic, you're going to be appealing to everyone!

Another problem with your site is that your articles are not compelling. They are "general knowledge" content that can be found many, many places online. You need to make your articles unique, valuable because they are original thinking, important ideas, and of great worth to the subscriber.

    Just my opinions,

    Steve

You need to add in some images and give your site some life with color. Every article reads like a college paper.

Even your links don't have any color.

  • Is that the conversion rate of your landing pages, or your actually site?
