I added an extra email address to my Gmail account a while back & completely forgot about it. Just today, I was sifting through the crap in the Spam folder of my Gmail account and there was a confirmation mail from Google. The Google Spam Filter had blocked the mail from Google. ![]() Wouldn't you think they would whitelist themselves (lol)? Will |

Hello, I check my spam folder on a daily basis to see what keywords I should not use in a email campaign. Some of the sales letters are good but they just miss the mark. |

I've had similar situations with Yahoo. Sometimes I email a note to myself so I don't forget something important... and it ends up in my bulk folder even though it was sent using the same email addy that it was received at.

Yes - the laugh here is that Google originated the mail, they sent it through the Google Mail system (gmail) and then Google flagged it as spam - is it only me that thinks this is hilarious? Will

I check that spam folder at least once a day, and any time I am waiting for an important email. They don't get a lot of the good email in it, but they seem to wait for the more important ones, like from my host. If I'm warped, cynical and grouchy, it's all their fault. I did have gmx put one of their own emails in the spam folder, but it was a super enthusiastic spam filter. I turned it off completely and in about a year and a half since then have never had a spam email to that account. |

Nope, it's not just you. I find it funny as well as pretty darn stupid for such "sophisticated" systems. ![]() Denise
