Where + How to hire a good Media Buyer/Paid Traffic Person?

Hi Warriors!

Where + How do I hire a good Media Buyer/Paid Traffic Person? I'd like to scale up some of my websites and get more traffic. To do this, I want to use paid traffic (native advertising, PPC, etc).

I am too busy to get into this so I'm looking to hire someone to manage my media buying/PPC campaigns.

A couple questions:

1) Where should I look for a competent media buyer (that knows all the new ways to advertise online - native advertising, etc.)

2) How should I expect to pay them ...what's normal? (hourly wage, percentage of campaign fund, per conversion etc.)

3)What should I look for when hiring? What makes a good media buyer?

Thank you for any help/suggestions you can provide.

I've had a lot of experience with media buying, and there are tons of variables to consider. What type of site you have, are you selling your own product or an affiliates.

I've almost exclusively worked on a profit sharing basis, but I have always ran traffic to direct offers, or my own products with someone else supplying the money.

You also have to consider what that person brings to the table - Are they bringing their own fb and other ppc accounts with them?

I'm not interested in working for you, but if you need a little help or have any other questions, drop me a line and I'd be happy to help.

Edit to Add - If you decide to go with someone from this site, I would vet them thoroughly and require a lot of proof before handing over any accounts/money.

Majority media buys will just use Cost of Campaign + Management fee. That is usually some percentage from 20 to 30%. Some boutique firms will even suggest a profit sharing program that will help motivate them to work more
