Membership Site Trials and Free Stuff - "Total Access Club"

I'm having a gander at the "Total Access Club" membership site by Ryan Deiss and Perry Belcher, and I'm a happy man. It's a ton of incredible content, and all for $1 trial - or 1 cent, I don't even remember the cost.

(There's no affiliate link here!)

In one sense though, I'm the kind of guy right now who they don't want to have taking them up on their trial offer for "Total Access Club". The thing is, I have no intention of proceeding past the 'freebie' point, and fully intend to cancel my free membership by the time the monthly fee kicks in.

Am I a waste of their time and effort? A thief? Am I simply leaching on their premium content? Well, maybe. But...

The thing is, sooner or later, I'm going to go ahead and buy into one of their premium programs/products. I'm conditioned now to see that they provide stunning value, relevant up to date material, and content that should definitely make a difference in the life of any marketers business.

I'm in awe of businesses which are running at that level, and fully intend to do everything I can to move in that direction with my own business. It's just a funny thing to think that there's soooo much "courting" to be done in the internet marketing world; not necessarily to make a sale, but to build a loyal customer base.

So...

What can I learn from my own "habits" online?

The initial sale is great, but the real value is in providing stunning content on a consistent basis, time and time again. Give it away for free. Give it away on the front end of a Butterfly Marketing site. Give it away to BUILD a list. Give it away TO the list. Give it away to the freebie seekers *ahem* - that's me often. Give it away in a Reed Floren "Give Away" event.

I can see myself making substantial investments in myself and business via the likes of Lee McIntyre, Alex Jeffreys, Ryan and Perry.... Why?

I like their free stuff!

Your thoughts???
