Adsense are getting very picky about new accounts and will only entertain you if your Blog or website is receiving a reasonable volume of traffic (so it seems) but if you can get adsense on your site then well and good.

There are other ways using banner ads, affiliate links in the posts etc. but suggest you engage and build an audience first. An email capture form is essential from the start though.

      First of all, welcome!

You should have lots of content, try 50 articles. Other than that, you must have privacy policy, disclaimer, contact us, about us page. Try to read their Adsense Program Policies here: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/48182

You can start with anything you want. Adsense will probably be the worst EPC and biggest hassle.

I think you should increase your site traffic first, then you will be able to earn money by any way. When you think, the visitor is enough, then you should ad to the adsense to earn a good amount of money. Thanks

There is no set amount of time you must wait prior to trying to monetize your site. Put your money makers on the site prior to your launch if you want (and have approval if needed).

I agree with this. Even though you can start to monetize whenever you like, it doesn't make sense if you have no traffic. First, get the traffic coming with good ad-free content first, and then start to monetize.

  • I'd say launch your website first, then wait a week or two or until your website is indexed in google without having any Adsense ads around the content of your website. Depending on the content of your website and the keywords you are trying to rank high in the search engines for, you should be able to get a good initial ranking with the search engines to drive targeted free traffic to your men's fashion website.

Once your website is indexed, then populate it with Adsense, amazon or other affiliate network offers relevant to the content of your website that you can receive a commission for when sales are made via your affiliate link.

Concentrate on pumping content for a month. Then add adsense or amazon.
Text links with amazon product related to your content work well. It subtle and more responsive

You will get different advice on this but IMO I would wait until your site is developed and you actually have regular traffic coming to your site. Not having a bunch of adsense or ads on the site will attract visitors to stay on your site longer. When you feel you are getting a lot of traffic then test out some ads.

Build it first, then advertise. Look at all major sites that are successful, they don't advertise for sometimes years. then when they do they make millions because the name, value, and established followers are there. Just my opinion.

Post unique and good content on your site. A good content help you get good visitor. Post some page on your web and then you will able to launch your site. At present you don't monetize it.

Please note that it's not easy to get approval for adsense account nowadays as it use to be few years ago.

There are a ton of ways you can monetize your website, but all of them require you to have at least some content on your website (preferably, quality content!) and you do need traffic as well.
You can start monetizing the moment you set your website up, but you won't have any success right from the start, plus you need to be approved by Adsense and / or other programs you're planning to use.

So, launch your website, work on it for a while (a few weeks or so, depends on how much time you have to work on it), and then try signing up for ad networks and such. Wait to be approved and - voilà!
