| In the first half of the year we are supposed to work for the taxman. I think that's a mistake. Help me to get rid of the taxman ASAP - thanks! (You, too, should make less mistakes!) | |

Squidoo allows you to create your own lens which is basically informative content on whatever subject you choose. Squidoo give you many options to customize your lens's layout. Recently they've come down hard on people putting up spammy lenses. As long as you provide valuable content, then you'll find it to be an excellent source to drive traffic to your webpages and affiliate sites. |

| On a squidoo lens you will be able to set up your landing page. You can put up to 9 links (after their new TOS) and you can add pictures too. The advantage of squidoo is that it ranks well on search engines and the lens will give you good backlinks too. It needs no approval like Ezinearticles and generally squidoo is used by starters in internet marketing for the purpose of landing pages and it is also used by experts as a source of backlinks. To sum up - squidoo is just another article marketing tool that boosts your search engine ranking. Yea, it is somewhat like ezinearticles but better due to the fact that you can put more links and pictures are allowed too. |

| Excerpted from Your Financial Independence Day by Dee Power and Michael Oska copyright 2009 Squidoo Lenses Think of Squidoo as a place where you can get a free one page - but it can be a very long one page – website. Set up a lens using one of your keyword phrases as the title. Squidoo offers a $5 referral fee for new accounts, so if you know someone who has a Squidoo lens give them the referral. Set up your bio and link to your blog or website. Write a short article 350 to 500 words as the intro and an additional article for a text modules. Those articles don't have to be unique to Squidoo. It's fine if you've already used the content on your own blog or web page. Link to your blog, website or squeeze page using the keywords in the title of the module. If you've used the same content on your lens as you have on your website, make sure the link is to different content. If a visitor is interested and follows the link and sees the identical article they'll lose interest and leave. The code for a link is key word phrase So linking to a garden site would be Grow flowers easily Add a poll, guest book, amazon module, and an ebay module. Alternate the modules so you have a text module, interactive module, product modules. For example: Intro module poll amazon module text module guest book ebay modules text modules amazon module. This may sound complicated but all the modules are clearly explained and it's really a matter of point and click to populate your lens with interesting products. You earn money from your lens through the different modules and their products, such as books from amazon.com and because you've linked to your blog or squeeze page from products that you're an affiliate for. AdSense revenues are earned as well. Squidoo splits the income between you and it. Dee |

Squidoo is a great place where you can create a very long page about what ever product, or subject you may want to promote or talk about. However, very recently, Squidoo got tired of spams and some topics such as diet, making money, pharmaceutical and a few more are now forbidden on Squidoo. I have created well over 100 lenses on some 5 different accounts and I have also created 3 lenses tutorials. I am also about to wrap-up my first Squidoo A-Z guide e-book. I am not new to ineternet marketing, but new to this forum so I can't post the links from my Squidoo lense tutorials, but I'd love to do it some other time. I saw that I need to have 15 posts for this. |
