I am getting emails as we speak about Belcher's social marketing offer. I am not at all tempted, but it is interesting to see all the Goobers marketing the same product within the same hour. I guess when the program costs $1,000 to $3,000 there are lucrative commissions involved so they all come out pushing the same thing.

Seems rather expensive to me... what do you think?

Also, I read a great book recently on social media called "Social Media Marketing - An Hour a Day" by Dave Evans. $30 seems like a great deal for that book now!

Yawn. Yet another rant about a product that hasn't actually been used and tested so it's difficult to know what a person's individual ROI would be. And yet another rant about the all the "goobers" that promote it. "Seems rather expensive to me...", that phrase is based on what? If it's just based on the price and not the actual product and the ROI (or lack thereof) it's a meaningless opinion. I'm not defending the product in any way, shape, or form, but I always find these types of scarcity-thinking posts amusing.

Here's my answer to your question. Do I think it's expensive? I have no idea because I haven't used it and tested it adequately.

Gee Dude. Thanks for taking the time to answer a useless question! You do realize this is a forum, right?

Don't forget to complain about the book resource I mentioned next time!

Ok then, back to grown-up stuff.

The perception of value is actually rather critical before somebody buys something, so having an opinion about a price-point before in-depth knowledge of the product is actually part the buying cycle. There is nothing wrong with that, nor is it meaningless. To the seller of a product it is entirely meaningful.

I suppose the $997 price tag is more commonplace nowadays with Guru products and marketing, but I personally feel that is way out of line in terms of the actual value - I am comparing this to several products I have personally tried, opinions from others as well, and trying to justify their cost to the amount of FREE information an internet marketer can get just from a simple visit to the library.

It all comes down to one's reputation and any proof that shown in the presentation. I have seen the pre launch videos and know that he has the Twitter followers but don't know anything about the revenue he claims to make. There is a money back guarentee for what that is worth. Listen to their sales pitch/videos, read the book you suggested and compare the 2 or take some of the hints from the videos and try to do it yourself. I personally have had some success on Twitter with my small list of followers.

Kern's said Belcher was his #1 affiliate during the last Mass Control campaign and Belcher is teaching his techniques in this product launch.

I can't see it price wise, but then again, I haven't seen the product so I can't be anything close to a fair judge.

I know Belcher Tweets about every 45 seconds it seems. Mostly good links and content.

Is it out of line to suggest that you may be able to learn the same things (it will just take longer) by following him every step of the way on Twitter and mimic what he does.

You can probably learn a lot from his videos and try. If the rest is worth the price - hard to say. I'd be interested in many courses around, but I am stuck implementing everything I already learn from various free resources. No sense to pile passive knowledge until you activate what you already know, right?

Personally, a lot of the things, Perry tells, resonate with me as right. However, so far I did not noticed much difference between in clicks between a semiautomatic and manually driven with selected good content Twitter accounts.
