Kindling program by Geoff Shaw

I looked on the Warrior Forum and it says that Kindling by Geoff Shaw is closed. Does that mean you're not able to purchase the program?

I see that it cost $127, is there any discount available for warrior forum members?

I'm into fiction writing and was wondering if anyone can comment about how it helped them with any aspect of writing a story for kindle.

And can anyone comment on how much more expensive this program is?

Well this is his regular non-WF salespage:

KINDLING: ?Writers ? You've Never Had A Greater Opportunity!? - home

The payment links appear to be working, so it might just be that he wants to pause his WSO for a while. It's $137 on the regular page, and (being a student of his) worth every penny because it's mega in-depth and he personally answers support (which might be why he closed the WSO, as he's spoken about being over booked for time replying to support requests).

Aside from wearing my "make money" hat, I'm an author of fiction. I haven't read the WSO, know zilch about it, but I'm certain you can learn the requisite skills (writing and making money) by scouring the web for KDP tips and reading all the usual books on the creative writing craft.

No offense, but 2009 join date and you are making this newbie level thread. You should know by now that if one "internet marketing" info product is taken off the shelf, there are dozens of others (if not hundreds) still out there with the same information.

Not really. Writing for kindle books has to be done in a very particular way 1) for the books to look good/read well 2) and for them to sell well. Geoff's course is exceptional having been updated over the past 3 years. It takes months to get through all the content.

There aren't dozens and dozens of openly available resources for writing for kindle books that are as in-depth as his course. Perhaps for writing in general because that's such a mega market, but kindle is very particular because it's an ecosystem all unto itself and needs specialized marketing.

Also, some people might have join dates dating years back but might not post here or be here everyday. Just commonsense, really.

        Okay. Fair enough.

Can you tell me any books this guy has written? If he is a Kindle sales guru then his books should rank fairly high.

This thread is crazy - you have a 2009 member asking if a closed WSO is closed. Then he wants to discuss the product - that is no longer available here.

Then we have someone highjacking the thread demanding proof about the author of a best selling - and now closed - WSO.

AND - one of my pet peeves recently (because comments like this used to be removed and that's not the case now)....

I haven't read the WSO, know zilch about it, but
If you haven't read it - know nothing about it - why would you feel the need to comment on it?

AS FOR THE PRODUCT ITSELF - If you need information about Kindling - the search works really well here....and the link below is a good thread to read!

My apologies for generating some heat here.
Yes, it does appear I am from the year 2009.
I haven't been doing any internet marketing
for sometime and have been away from the
            forum for quite awhile.

I've written quite a number of stories, and have
finally gotten the energy to try to push them out there,
and was looking to gain info about the best
            way to approach Kindle.

When I saw the Kindling site on the forum and
it said it was closed, in my ignorance, I thought
it was the program that was closed.

Being out of the loop de loop for some time
has put me back into a bit of a newbie form,
and just wanted to make the best use of my
time figuring out which program would be
            best to use.

I also recommend the Kindle section on this forum - it's a one time payment and the info/advice/help in that section is amazing.

It might be closed for warrior forum members but still open for new members through a direct site of his.
