Its me again! I have a few quick questions about PLR. I'm currently writing a bunch of PLR Packs on various topics. I also have a few clients that I write articles for. Now, I've been keeping the two separate. Basically, what I wrote for clients is different completely different from the stuff I plan to sell. But it dawned on me the other day, what can I do with the stuff I write for customers? I sell it as PLR afterall. Could I resell those articles a month or so later? Or, are all of my rights gone after I send them over to my client? Also, I'm curious about keyword density. I don't really like writing with that in mind, but if my client wants that I'll do it. I try to make it sound natural, but I never like how it flows. It works, but I don't know. Maybe its because I'm conscious of the fact that the same phrases are being repeasted at least 5 times per article. I ask this because the articles from my packs are not really keyword dense, but they are as informative as I could make them. I'm hoping that's what counts. Thanks again! |

This is what I did; PLR is mostly purchased by bum marketers (let's assume) and you need to give them direct information in the article so that they can rewrite it easily. An article should be at least 250 words in Ezinearticles.com (because it's used by 99% of the bum marketers). So if you have a 400 word article just split them into 2 articles first. One will be 250 words and the other will be 150 words. Now add more content to the 150 words and then rewrite the 2 articles. Now you have 2 fresh unique articles with original content You've already sold this article to your client and now it's going to be a PLR. So you keep making profits and you don't lose customers too. About writing keyword rich articles - first write the article the way you write it on a paper. Just write it once and then when doing the proofreading (which has to be done by every content writer), just insert the keywords whenever necessary. I'm sure you will be able to find at least 3 places where the keyword can be implemented. If you're not able to find, here are some tips: Try inserting a title in between the article Try starting the article with a keyword Surely it will be possible to insert a keyword in the last paragraph. There, you already have a good keyword density which is perfect for a 300 - 400 word article. If you want to make it better, just bold one of the keywords. Hope this helps and hoping that I've not bored you ![]() Good luck | |

Rewriting would be a great idea. That was I can still make money and the client will still have their unique content Why didn't I think of that. lol

If the article has been written specifically for one client, the client has all rights. Legally and ethically you can not do anything more with the article. Don't try to rewrite it because you'll come very close to plagiarizing yourself. And that means you've cheated your customer. For example here's an original sentence: High blood pressure, also called hypertension, is a silent killer. Here is the sentence rewritten: Hypertension sometimes known as high blood pressure has been called the silent killer. Those sentences are way too similar even though they might get through copyscape. Dee |

I wouldn't do it. If you were to pay for an original article and then find it being sold as re-written PLR a month later, with all it's similarities, you'd probably be upset about it. You'd also be very unlikely to use the writer again. You risk waving goodbye to any repeat custom, as well as a lot of new custom once word gets out. Treat people as you'd wish to be treated yourself. |

Thanks for the great replies. I guess I'm just trying to squeeze as much money as I can out of my writing. It is very tempting to rewrite those articles! I think some of them were really good! I'll just put more effort into my PLR packs, then.

Reserve a set of your plr articles for yourself. Choose an affiliate product. Set up a blog. PUt the affiliate link on the blog. Use half of the articles as blog posts. Use the other half to set up squidoo lenses, wetpaint, xanga sites all linking back to your blog using your keyword phrases. Write a couple of new articles and post to ezinearticles with a link to your blog. Dee |

Yea, thanks plan. I've been doing something similar but no sales yet. I was hoping by writing and selling PLR, I would generate some cash a bit faster. I'll keep at it though!

I agree with the others. If you write an article for someone you completely give up ownership - you hand over complete rights. However - I regularly write for my own websites. Sometimes I will take that content and form some PLR packs to save time. It doesn't matter since I own the content. |

Almost any client you are writing for would assume that you are writing specifically for them and that the content is unique. To resell the content would not be ethical. |

Same here. I have hundreds of articles written for various clients. They're just stored in my archive. Inasmuch as I want to make more money out of it, I'd rather not. I don't think it will do me good in the end anyway.
