New Landing page for Brand new site

I need help creating the best converting landing page. In my click to bid auction system only Google and Facebook verified bidders are allowed to bid, but I have been told I will need a landing page that explains this to customers.

    One thing that most people do when promoting these offers is target a certain type of product (such as apple ipad, samsung galaxy, tv, etc) and create the landing page around bidding on the product.. then you could have your disclaimer at the bottom

      Have you seen amazon re-targeting ads on facebook..

      Use this type of system of targeting one product.
