Hey guys,

I keep hearing about the good ol' days of internet marketing where you could submit your articles to a bunch of article directories and rank your websites. The days where you could spin articles and get thousands of backlinks to your websites.

But, I missed those days because I didn't start looking into internet marketing until post panda, right when they started rolling out the updates....

But, it seems that there might be hope again to get my golden goose, and a taste of clickbank income...

Youtube was recently updated by Google a while ago to work alongside google+. This meant that people could post links in videos....

Which means that a person can bottom feed off of high ranking videos with self-serving links...

I already posted a clickbank link... as a tinyurl and am getting daily hops from over 100 videos I commented on, with no ghosting or ban.....

I have an excel sheet of scrapped videos im going through to get boatloads of traffic(eventually).

Im hoping to get some nice money from this, until Google wisens up and removes links altogether...whereby I can than move on to the next thing.

I guess watchfulness does pay off(lol).

A lot of people miss those days - for they are screwed without them, for they were NEVER in business with a real business. They were spammers/scammers/cheeseballs. Granted, some wised up and got serious about a 'business', but there are plenty of idiots that found some exploits, bought a $20,000 watch because they 'figured out' how to MMO - and then had to pawn the watch and go back to their bosses with their asses in their hands, begging for their jobs back, when they're exploit was 'closed'.

And then what? A scramble to find the next exploit? Each exploit will be harder to find, harder to exploit, and not last as long. If all you are going to do is look for exploits, forget about It. 'It' being self-employed for an extended period of time.

Hell, I wish I started 15 years ago, when everything was 'easy', but I didn't. What I can do now is use the experiences and FAILURES of others as a learning tool. Like the FAILURE of thinking a SUSTAINABLE online income will be found in exploits.

Millionaires have been made by exploits, but SUSTAINABLE business are NOT. And it is waaaaaaay harder to make a living (let alone millions - these folks are RARE, anyway) using exploits today and in the future than even 5 years ago.

I'm just a knucklehead, so don't take any offense, but why are you wasting your time, pissing in the wind, and looking for the next exploit?

Get serious about this stuff, or you WILL be working for someone for the rest of your life. Period. Pick a business model, not a 'method' or 'exploit'. Don't believe the hype of MMO marketers.

Tell me, what entrepreneur, aside form cheesy MMO IMers, describes their business model as 'Make Money ______'? If you treat this stuff as a MMO/Method/Exploit thing instead of an Online Business thing, well, bookmark the WSO forum and keep your paypal account close to keep buying crappy 'MMO Methods'.

And bookmark the Craigslist 'Help Wanted' section, because you are going to end up getting a JOB ...

Consider this: the Internet is your EXPLOIT. It is your back door into creating a business out of thin air, with very little money. Never have people had such LOW entry barriers to starting a business ...

EDIT: Not all IMers in the MMO vertical or coaches are cheeseballs, and some provide quality stuff - but a lot of them are nothing more then dream peddlers, looking to get some money out of your wallet ...
