Udemy how do i get students

I want to know if i post a free tutorial on udemy.com could i get students to subscribe without any promotion from me

    If you do not do any promotion, then how will anyone know your course is available. You might want to offer it here via the classified ads section for reviews

    You can use your list building guide in your sig to build your list and then mention your Udemy course to your subscribers.

    I think Udemy will be bad for you unless you are marketing to your own country.

    Besides, it is really only fit for building a list and then upselling them something bigger and better

    Oh and Udemy has it's own promotion with money off, free offers etc. These are often shared on forums which gets you loads of freeloaders.

    i have been trying to build my list but don,t realy know how except buying solo ads and i don't have the money for that. I am more of a techie guy but i need money and i ve learnt that money is in the list.

    So i just want to build my list and I thought if I could offer a totally free course on udemy might help me build my list.

    So i want to know if i put up a free course what ways can i promote it?

    I don't know if posters on this thread are talking from experience, but the truth is if you want students for a FREE course, you'll get them automatically on Udemy.

    We have created free courses for some of our clients and if you get the basics right, you won't have trouble getting students without promotion. When I say students - I mean 400-500 students overnight. But, the number depends on a few factors (the basics), so you have to get them right.

    There's enough walk in traffic on Udemy..so just go ahead and launch your free course.

    You can go to YouTube and create videos.

    You can write articles everyday and post it on your blog.

    Forum marketing works but you have to give lots of value everytime.

    But if you want faster results, I would look into paid ads like pay per click. I know that this is not your goal right now but trust me you will see faster results rather then just waiting for weeks and weeks to see any movement in your business.
