Hello;

Auto-play video on opt in page? Good idea? Does it increase optins? Or does it usually annoy people? What's been your experience?

    For optin page auto play is the industry standard nowadays.

    Conversion depends on what you have in the video and audience

    I've had better results with autoplay because attention span of people on an optin page is low and you can't expect them to hit the play button and hear you out.

    When I land on a video squeeze page, I bounce. If it starts playing automatically doesn't matter to me at all.

    Put a picture of the video on your opt in page. Don't allow your visitors to have the option to play your video.

    Tell them that if they do want to see it, they will need to opt in FIRST.

    On another note, once they opt in, make sure that the video starts to play right away. Don't let your new subscribers click on the PLAY button.
