Social Networks and Backlinks

It seems to me that my main competitors have far more backlinks and followers on Facebook and Twitter than me although the quality of their content is not as good as mine.

Has anyone any suggestions as to how I can quickly increase backlinks and Facebook and Twitter followers without being penalised or banned?

    Hi, Derek. Get targeted followers on Twitter is relatively easy. I´m using free tool called Tweepi. You can see stats of the people you want to follow, especially the follow back percentage. I follow 100 people per day and after 24 hours I flush the unfollowers.

    It is consistent process and not an over night process. Build your reputation first on these social networking sites and then accelerate things.

    Unfortunately, the quality of their content is irrelevant, as long as they're working harder than you to promote themselves on social media, they'll have more followers. You should try and 'beat' them, work harder yourself to gain more followers!
