You can and should use Facebook. You can also use other networks like Google, Yahoo, and Bing.

Should i try to build a mailing list?
You should build a list because once you have trust and people know you, you can send them any offer at anytime and still make sales.

Should i give up, because the product sucks?
If the product sucks, sell another product that does not suck.

Should i change the price?
I did not look at the price but can tell you that people would be willing to spend more then $100-$500 if it solves their problem for them.

Should i put it on a site like clickbank or JVzoo?
If you do put your product on Clickbank, you can have other affiliates promote this for you. Once you find a few good super affiliates, your income will soar.

Thanks for your reply talfighel.

I already tried to use facebook, but since i looked at facebook reports and it said i had 70 clicks on the ad and my google analytics says i only had 25 visitors on the website, i started to doubt about facebook ads.

The price is $19.90 i think it's kinda affordable.

I am working on uploading it to JVzoo right now.

Hi r1do..

I have had a look at your website and I like your product offering.

I like the images but the text is not really driving it home enough for me to hit the buy now for windows button. I would suggest that you add and highlight more benefits of getting the blackjack helper app for your phone.

Questions:
are there any other apps like this on the market at the moment and if yes how much are they selling for?

Will it be coming soon for the android and iphone app... I feel like your missing a big chunk of the market there

I never targeted traffic to the windows app store before but i have sent traffic to android apps directly from fb and have racked up quite a bit of downloads using that method. You are able to set up the ad to target a specific group and its displayed with the download link that takes you diorectly to the app download page. Again im not sure if it works the same for windows but it converted well for android.

This is a desktop app, not a smartphone app and i have no idea if there is anything like this out there, but probably yes.

I just developed it for my personal use, but then i decided that i could give it a shoot trying to sell it

Never give up and understand we are not perfect so you are not going to get a perfect job the first time but the more you do the better you will get. Thats first.

Second, I like your second idea of building a list. Biggest advice with this approach is first learn how to communicate with people building that trust showing you are somebody to listen to. Once you have an idea on how to talk with people then you create yourself a 7 or 14 day email campaign. again you might have to play with your content to get the numbers you are looking for but stick with it and make adjustments and you will do it.

What ever you do don't give up when the first time it does not work out for you. Keep repeating the process while keeping an open mind learning new things.

Get a mentor or two and follow them!

Thank you very much. You are going to sell your goods online. of course it is one of your good decision. I think you should give emphasize on your main site. You have to increase your site traffic & page rank at any cost & any how. Yes, you can do some others way to increase your traffic, such as facebook add, youtube, other social media site, forum posting, bookmarking, blog commenting, article submission & so on. Even you can use many affiliate sites to increase your sell. Thanks

I think you should do some market research to see whats the competition like if theres any and gauge your pricing ads etc from there... you can advertise on heavy traffic blackjack / casino blogs. Use the google peyword planner tool to search for and target persons interested in card counting.

I saw application there and my mind ran in the direction of mobile apps lol.

Has the application given you good results?

I play online poker and I can remember when the poker odds calculator came out.. it was big but you'll have to research and identify if theres a hungry market for this tool I not really been into blackjack.

Under features on your website... Playing Matematicaly Correct has incorrect spelling.
