IM for cosmetic dentistry

Hello,

Was looking for additional tips to market a dental practice, specifically their cosmetic procedures.

Here's what I have in mind:

  • Aggressive local PPC campaign with a compelling copy.
  • Facebook ads.
  • Articles about the ins and outs/FAQ of the procedures, SEOed.
  • Interview style and office tour videos + YouTube PPC campagin for those vids.
  • In the main website: opt-in, before-after pics, case studies, and testimonials. And of course, outsourcing to competent copywriter, especially for the homepage.

Being fairly new to IM, I'm sure I'm blind to so many other powerful strategies...

And quick question: is it advisable to consult the dentist to have little 'testimonial' slips in the office for patients to fill out, and on the slip, ask permission for it to be published online. Recommended/ethical tactic?

Thanks!

Definitely !Testimonials are Social proof that you need to increase sales conversion.
Your method sounds ethical to me .

Good luck . It seems that you have a good plan .

You could have a PDF report on ways to keep your teeth white and pretty without cosmetic dentistry that includes an overview of what cosmetic dentistry is, the different procedures, what problems they solve, and of course why this particular cosmetic dentistry practice is the one to choose.

Sometimes visitors don't stay around long enough to get their questions answered.

Have visitors opt in to get the report. Follow up with hints on teeth care, latest procedures, new office staff, etc. every month.

A couple of thoughts for you, Mynt...

        1. A nice addition to a website would be PDF versions of the standard forms the dentist asks new patients to fill out. That way, patients can print the forms at home, fill them out in comfort, and bring them along to the appointment. Much more pleasant than trying to balance the clipboard on one's knee in the waiting room. More private, too.

        2. I don't know what part of Florida you're in (or the dentist, if he's not local), but you may be leaving money on the table by keeping the focus purely local. If the dentist is in a desirable tourist area, especially one the affluent desire, you could promote a combination vacation/smile upgrade trip. While the patient gets their smile enhanced, the spouse can be shopping, golfing, fishing, whatever.

Might make a nice JV with a luxury hotel or resort and a limo service...
