Does Amazon Widget work?

hi,

I have a health and fitness website and thinking about putting amazon ads
my question is how well does amazon widget work?

I am thinking to put:
Contextual Recommendations (Beta) New"Automatically feature products that are contextually relevant to the content on your page based on Amazon's unique content analysis technology."
has any1 tried these ads? how is the conversion rate?
if this is not recommended what is the best wordpress plugin to use?

    widgets won't convert well in your site. That is my personal experience.
    Text links in your content works best.
    I have written an articles on increasing your amazon earning. go and have a look.
    Also i have suggested the best amazon plugin. Its cheap and well worth it

    I have an amazon site (that I don't maintain anymore) that used to bring me between $300 and $600 per month. I would find a combination of text links in the content plus making your own custom "featured product" widget works best. Rather than use amazon's widget, take the product photos and make custom featured products that suit the theme of your site. They convert much better.
    Also putting a CTA at the bottom of the page with a buy now button can also help.
