I notice that sometime i go to a squeeze page, when i try to leave, it'll redirect to another page offering different product. How do i install exit pop-up to my squeeze page? Thank you for your valued opinion.

There are many different scripts out there that can do this for you. The one I use is just a simple little piece of software that you fill in the blanks and embed the code it pops out onto your squeeze page. There are some other ones that are different and require you to do different things, but mostly they are all easy to use.

The one I use I got for free right here on the WF:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...-100-free.html

    (not an affiliate link)

It takes all of 2 minutes to generate the code and then simply add the code to your squeeze page. I believe this code gets added right above the closing </body> tag on your page.

If you are using WordPress for your squeeze pages, then I would recommend a free plugin called WP No Escape. If you do a search you should be able to find that one for free somewhere.

    Hope that helps you out.

Could not have said it better myself! You should definitely check out that offer Ongpeitong.
And nicheblogger75 is right...it's really easy to set up. And well worth it.

One word of advice: you should make the offer the pop up redirects them to be something that is related to the thing that brought them there in the first place.

So, if they came to the squeeze page because they were looking for something about Dog Training, it would not make sense to send them to an offer for a video game. Make it something related to that squeeze page offer, which they might also be interested in. Maybe a CPA or affiliate offer for something else about dog care.

I've used exit pop ups, but usually only on my sale pages. Instead of redirecting them to a different product, you offer them a discounted price, free shipping, free trial ect

I use them on my sales pages too. Something that works really well for me is to redirect them from a sales page to one of my squeeze pages. This way I get lots of opt-ins from the traffic that is sent to my sales pages by affiliates. I have one sales page that gets me anywhere from 15-25 subscribers a day basically on autopilot.

I also put them on some of my squeeze pages and usually I will redirect to a CPA offer that is related to my own squeeze page. I just started doing that a couple of months ago and have been able to make anywhere from $200-$300 a month in passive income from that. Not bad for just adding some code to my sales and squeeze pages.

I know a lot of people don't like exit pops, and at first I used to hate them myself. However, what I have come to understand in recent months is that they work like gangbusters!

I hate these things myself. But do they actually turn into sales for you (and not just leads)?

I also hate these. When I see such site, I promise myself never to buy from one and never to come back. Sometimes I forget and come back. I tried it once on my website and it didn't worked.

Rory is right. These traffic are very hard to convert.

          But,

          You can test the fortune.

I don't go as far as to track whether the subscribers I get from them convert into any sales. However, I was able to add almost 1000 new subscribers on my list last month from the exit pops that are on all of my sales pages. These are basically free leads because this is all coming from the traffic that is being sent to several sales pages by affiliates.

And I also have an exit pop on my most highly trafficked squeeze page that I redirected to a CPA offer which was a lead submit that paid $2.25 per lead. The exit pop generated 1524 clicks and I got 137 CPA sales for a total of $308.25. That is a conversion rate of around 9%.

The point is that I managed to get almost 1000 new subscribers and made over $300 last month just by adding some code to my sales and squeeze pages. IMO that's not bad.

As I said, I used to hate them myself, but almost every squeeze page I visit is using them. I held off doing it for a long time, but I am not going to turn my back on almost 1000 subscribers and over $300 a month in basically passive income because some people don't like them.

          • In my experience people are missing out if they are not using exit scripts. I have personally used them on both squeeze pages (where I have sent visitors to a related but slightly different offer (e.g. a general MMO offer and exit to an online traffic generation offer) and on sales pages.

With sales pages I will perhaps look to initially offer a downsell, and then finally on to a squeeze page to at least try to add them to my list so that I can build the relationship and hopefully sell to them in the future.

I have lost count of the extra sales/subscriptions this has brought into my business.

The one thing I would suggest you avoid, is to have exit, after exit after exit. That can p*ss people off.

Exit pops have generated me thousands upon thousands of dollars over the years...

If your are promoting an offer with traffic that is exit-pop friendly...

I highly recommend you attach that badboy on where necessary (especially with solo ads).

Main page builders come with them, along with specific software that have been mentioned above

I have always hated them and said I would never use them...well tried one on a sales page offering a discount, sales came in the same day from the exit pop and it has done great ever since, now kicking myself for not doing it years ago. missed out on 6 years of exit sales...

I guess because we see them so much they are annoying.

My two favorites are ExitSplash and the exit redirect option that comes with OptimizePress.

There are lots of exit pop plugins out there. I used a few, but one I saw recently I'm going to try is an ext pop that embeds a video. Click Pop Engage - Boost Your Business Today and Video Pop Funnels
