You have to publish in order for it to show up in your website.

Wordpress has their own forum , I would bet they could help there more than a "MARKETING" forum could

    Do you get any errors?

There are two options: you can "Save Draft" or you can "Publish". Perhaps you aren't actually publishing your article (which is why it isn't showing up live on your website). If you did hit publish and it's not showing up, it's likely a technical issue with your theme/site.

    Press 'Publish' not 'Save'.
    'Save' saves it for later.
'Publish' publishes it to your site.

Wordpress is really easy once you get the hang of it. Just make sure that you are hitting the "publish" button once you're done with a post in order for it to show up. While you're typing, Wordpress will many times "auto save" drafts in case something happens while you're typing (like your browser crashes), so that you can restore the most and continue working (very handy). These post, however, cannot be seen "live" until you publish it.

WP 2.9.1 might be a memory hog when saving and posting. If you are editing a post or page that has already been published, autosave continues to work, but it will not overwrite any of the published content.
The changes will not be displayed on the blog until you click the Update Post/Page button in the Publish module. You can find the last autosave, if there is one, and other post revisions in the Post Revisions Module.
