Start 1 year old blog freshly

Hello guys,

I'm thinking to start one of my blog freshly. Currently there are well over 500 posts on the blog and want to delete all of them and give a fresh start. Has anyone among you done such thing before? or anyone know what will be consequences of deleting the posts? Is there any way that I can avoid these problems?

    May I know the reason why you're deleting the posts? If it's for SEO I'm not sure if it will make a difference.

      My blog has been inactive from past 2 months and the rankings have gone significantly down. I've even analysed the content which seems to be very bad quality. I want to start with quality content.

        Well if it is really horrendous content then by all means get rid of it. And start fresh.

        I have not done this myself , but it may be a necessity in your situation
